What to say for a quite hotel like this .. was planning to get relaxed for 3 days and then to go to Kuta or Semenyak area . After I notice the crowds of both areas I decided to complete my stay on Bali for Extra 4 days. Was one of the best relaxation trip I did with my wife . I recommend everything on this hotel the cleanest and quietness of the area at night also. The hotels smells so good rooms, bathrooms even their pool is clean , lastly their breakfast has varieties. Thanks for the stuff and the management of the hotel keep it up guys.

Amazing suroundings, beautiful pool and huge, water is warm, great food. I understood from our guide, that this is the favourite place to stay of the president of Indonesia, so it's not a bad pick :). You have a gym, daycare for children, you can rent bicycles, for us it was a perfect place to stay, the lobby is out of this world, with statues and pools and marble.

This is a gorgeous property. Our room was lovely and more than matched the photos. AC was quiet and fully adjustable. The rooms are in separate buildings, four up, four down. Our front veranda was gorgeous with lots of carved wood and a big sofa. Very traditional Balinese architecture and all beautifully decorated and maintained. Great selection of food at all the restaurants and a fine breakfast buffet. Large comfortable rooms.

I loved this guesthouse, one of my favorites! I normally do not write reviews but I had to for Sal’s. Great location, an easy walk to the action, yet so quiet and peaceful inside. The grounds are clean, well manicured, and the staff were so genuine and kind. The pool was beautiful and a delicious breakfast is included. I highly recommend this place!

Uluwatu has changed a lot in the past few years.

Uluwatu has changed a lot in the past few years. There is an enormous amount of construction with very narrow roads. The way of transport is bike, if you want to travel in a reasonable time frame. The age demographics is more on the younger side.

Never been to Nusa Dua before.

Never been to Nusa Dua before. Perfect for families and the 30plus age group. I loved the manicured lawns and clear foot paths. Shopping was within easy walking distance and if you wanted to move off the tourist strip local eateries were also within walking distance. Lots of great restaurants with live music.

I'm over 65 and a solo female traveller. It's a beach and beach shack kind of place - there's spa's and beauty places scattered around too. I didn't get out. very much so I feel I am bbeing unfair in reviwing but they did ask :)

Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).

I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas. Be sure to visit Kelly's Warung at Bingin Beach, try a Pilates class at Fondue Studio, and enjoy dinner at Casa Asia.

Very busy, very full of tourists. Shops are crazy expensive, more than the same items in Australia. They will negotiate but its honestly hard work and they still won't go down to reasonable prices. Food options are good, but also expensive relative to other parts of Bali. Bit of a party place for young people really, not so suitable for families or older travellers. Watch out for tourists on motorbikes - the local travel at a sedate pace but some of the tourists seem to think its a race track.

It was a pleasant stay even when it was peak season. The staff were all very friendly, friendly and helpful. The built up of the hotel was big so it does not feel crowded even with over 90% capacity. We had our meals in all the restaurant, including the lobby bar. It was all good. Lobby bar tartar was superb. I really enjoyed it. I do recommend it. Overall, the pricing of food and drinks isn't that bad. I believe it was reasonable for the comfort, convenience, location and service. It is not my first time at this hotel. I have been at this hotel many times and brought many friends here too. Most of them loved the hotel, some think it's a little run down. Somehow, I am attracted to the very local Balinese feel of the hotel. I don't get the "local Balinese" vibe in the other hotels around Nusa Dua ITC. Finally; I like the warm cozy feel of the local Balinese vibe in this hotel with variety of food from local, Mediterranean, western, asian and fusion. Freshly squeezed fruit juice for breakfast and superb spread. The beach is clean with stunning view of the ocean.

It was great location, during the day it was quiet and plenty of space to walk around and explore the beaches and in the afternoon it was buzzing with people enjoying the beautiful restaurants for sunset dinners.

Uluwatu is a great area in general and recently has evolved into quite more of not just a surf point but also a gastronomic and fashion center of Bali's top towns. A great place to come and take a vacation, all of the beaches are great and the great thing is that there's something for everyone.
