"The northernmost port city in the world! lots of gorgeous sights to see. downtown can lack a bit of luster for someone used to american nightlife but understandable due to how cold & desolate the place can get. For a city with a population of just over 150k i felt quite intrigued with the scandanavian archetecture and cuisine. A one of a kind place to visit! Me and my Girlfriend stayed for just about 8 Days and found that to be the perfect amount of time to do about 4 tours, eat out at 10ish restaurants, and see the perlan museum, some parks and the main church. Im sure thats not really "everything to do" in reykjavik, however we became slightly bored by the end of the week. for those more interested in bar hopping or food tasting. theres a lot more in the way of that, downtown. Overall i would rate the trip a 8.5/10. Highly recommend touring the country side and just immersing in the culture and landscape. Absolutely otherworldly!"

"Great hotel. Was given a room upgrade. The person at the reception desk was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant, A. Hansen, for dinner. Loved the shower head, felt like a personal waterfall. The room didn't have USB ports but fortunately I had a european plug adapter with me. The wifi was excellent."

Fantastic hotel in a prime location, no more than 20 minute walk to most sites of interest in Reykjavik. Lovely and very professional staff. Solid breakfast (great coffee and insanely delicious, warm and buttery cinnamon rolls, the best we have ever tasted) and good sauna facilities freely available to guests (priceless in winter). Beds were a dream, immaculate and very comfortable rooms. Very expensive but this is Iceland!

Absolutely loved the experience there. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. Even got complimentary treats on my birthday sent to my room. Which I found icing on the cake to overall of my stay. Spa was relaxing and enjoyed the small thermal pool. Roof top breakfast was absolutely lovely and the staff there were wonderful. Also when we were leaving early around 3am the staff at the reception had teas, coffee and few snacks for us at the reception. Seriously they were all superb. Thank you so much!! 😊 can't reccomend this place highly enough!!! Will definitely go there again!

Reykjavik is a very charming city when the weather is nice.

Reykjavik is a very charming city when the weather is nice. It is very compact and everything worth seeing is no more than a 20 minute walk from wherever you are. However if it is not sunny it can be very cold and windy making it hard to enjoy. Food wise everything is uber expensive and the portion sizes do not compensate for the overpriced food. The food itself is tasty but it is very hard to justify paying $40 for a cheeseburger.

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.

There for a 1 day layover before flying back home. Nice 1 day visit to walk through the city centre. Would recommend it along with a visit to the Harpa Concert Hall and harbor just outside: Nice glass building. The Sun Voyager Steel structure is just a few minutes walking. The Phallic Museum was a fun stop to view the cafe and what was on display in the shop: Did not have time to visit the museum: Really worth stopping by. Bathrooms are geat.
