This mountain-style room is so beautiful, and the view from the big balcony is breathtaking! ⛰️😍 The hosts are super charming, friendly, and hospitable. 🤗 The place has a cozy, warm vibe, and there's even a fireplace and a bar in the common area. You can also play ping pong or table football, and they let us play for hours! The garden has a nice swing and outdoor beach chairs where you can relax and enjoy the amazing view of the Dolomites. You can also get dinner there, and they'll even tell you about it before you arrive. There's free parking on the premises, and the handyman even offered to store our motorcycle in the garage overnight. He was so helpful, but I forgot his name, unfortunately. The village itself is small but charming. I definitely recommend it and would go back! They even gave us some delicious farewell cookies, we definitely didn't want to leave so soon.☺️

What is not to love about Rio Stava? Literally nothing. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are so comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed omg, I’ve never slept so soundly as I did in Rio Stava. The food is amazing, I really recommend going for the full board. The menu changes every night, you get a few options to choose from for primi, secondi and dolci and they’re all so good it’s hard to choose. Location is great, the views are beautiful and the spa is fantastic! I got a face treatment and my husband a massage and both were great. Most people come here with their kids, it’s mostly a family resort and I could see that the hotel is super prepared to receive and care for kids, so would recommend if that’s your case. My husband and I came just the two of us and it was perfect for a couple, we had a very relaxing time, so don’t feel like it’s only for families. And the staff deserves their own paragraph. Every single person working at Rio Stava is so friendly, helpful, professional, always offering to help and make your stay pleasurable. They just made our stay even better! We will definitely come back!

+ Location is close to supermarket/shops and lifts in the area (10-15 minutes driving time) + Available options for family in free time (pool, baby/small children playing room, games room for adults) + You can use provided trolley to bring your luggages/stuff until your room (accessible via lifts) + Receptionist ladies are very nice and helpful + Guest card is very useful to use lifts in the area and even free entrance to some museums or castles (we used it during rainy weather) + The restaurant has great food and wine. The lady there was also nice that we could order our favorite italian dishes eventhough it was not on the menu

An absolutely wonderful stay. The atmosphere and energy were simply fantastic. The town is charming, and the hotel itself is beautiful and full of character. Offers parking and a fairy-tale ambiance that makes you feel like you are in a dream. Cons: You’ll need to drive at least an hour and a half to reach the best Dolomites hiking trails, so there is some travel involved. Overall, this was a dream hotel and we had an unforgettable experience!

Rooms were comfortably furnished, the staff very helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. They have the cutest dinning room! Also, a wonderful spa. Just as a bit of info to keep in mind, the spa doesn't open until 2:30 and it closes at 7:30 p.m. So, there isn't much time to use it in the evenings. The hotel has beautiful veiws of the mountains. Such a relaxing and beautiful place to stay. Definitely recommend it.

It was a charming little town in the middle of the dynamites...

It was a charming little town in the middle of the dynamites. It offers beautiful vistas and warm cafés. It’s a wonderful place to come in the winter, but I imagine also other seasons. We use the rental car to get around. One of the challenges was the parking lot required a certain pass that we did not have. It would be helpful to have the hostess of the home coordinate with us.

The service, the staff, the environment, everything went...

The service, the staff, the environment, everything went beyond our expectations. When we wanted to ski, the manager helped us to find the place to rent the ski equipment and it is also possible to bring that equipment at the hotel. Our room was very cozy and with all the amentities you need. We used also swimming pool and sauna, it was really relaxing. The cleanness is top, I really appreciate it. I recomend this place to everyone who is seeking quiet and beautiful place to relax.

A charming little mountain town with all the amenities. Close to other towns of the area and to the well managed ski resorts of Latemar, Ceramis, and Alpe Lusia ( Beautiful views with comfortable runs for intermediates and beginners) We ate well at L'Bortoleto( formal dining) and MZ millenium, Montanara and HB burgers ( casual dining). You don't pay the excessive prices of places like Cortina.

A great town.

A great town. I've been there for the fourth time and will visit this place again. Perfect place. Close to restaurants and not far to the slopes. A historic and very atmospheric town. A lot of friendly people live here. Ancora restaurant well worth a visit. The waiters and bartender are very nice and treat customers the best in the world.

I loved this place!

I loved this place! The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. The location was perfect; it backed onto a forest so it was very quiet and peaceful. However, in just a few minutes walk I was in the town centre. Upon checkin I was given a tourist card to visit various sights and a travel card to use on all the buses. This was very convenient when visiting nearby towns like Moena and Canazei. The owners were extremely kind and helpful; when I arrived, it was tipping with rain and they very kindly picked me up at the station. They also gave me a lift when I was leaving. I would most highly recommend Residence Lagorai!
