Stayed for a night at this hotel as its closer to Allenby Bridge crossing. Hotel arranged for taxi to crossing which costed 25JD. Very spacious and neat rooms. Close to Madaba Mall and other shopping places. Hotel allowed to keep my rental car for free in their parking for 3 days after checkout as it required for my crossing to Israel.

From the moment i arrived until i left i felt at home,...

From the moment i arrived until i left i felt at home, everyone was kind, the owner his son and all his family. We had dinner together and I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful evening with all the relatives around a fire drinking tea. Safi Kitchen offers a variety of tours in the surrounding canyons and historical tours around the area. Excellent food, spacious apartment equipped with all comforts, internal parking. The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow.

The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow. The place needs some attention and could use a coat of paint and some general maintenance. The staff are very nice, but why are there no women working there? Overall we would recommend Mujib Chalets. The site is so beautiful and the Dead Sea so weird that there is no place like it.

The Dead Sea itself is a wonder of nature: the extremely salty water which keeps you floating, the white shores, the crystal-clear waters and the rocky-mountain shores lit up by the sun. Definitely worth a week visit!

Best for experiencing the Dead Sea at a leisurely pace.

Best for experiencing the Dead Sea at a leisurely pace. One should only select the locations having direct access to the dead sea. We stayed at the Samarah resort so didn't actually go into the city, and didn't feel the need to. The facilities here may not be as good as found in other parts of Jordan. It all depends on the hotel/ staying accommodation selected. We also didn't explore the other tourist sites near Sowayma - if you feel the need to, then plan to stay for at least 3 nights.
