"Best part of the island! Long difficult road to drive from the airport- about 40 miles but takes about two hours. Do not recommend driving the pothole ridden and steep roads during dark. Gros Islet is absolutely beautiful- very laid back, relaxing, safe, and had everything you need for a great family vacation. All beaches are public access, so you can go to any "resort" beach as long as you do not use the beach furniture or umbrellas- they cannot kick you off the beach."
"Excellent area to stay in for a St Lucia vacation because of proximity to many of the great places to visit on the island, most of which are south of town. We rented a house just outside of Soufrière which avoided the late-night town noise that we read can be an issue with some in-town locations. We found lots of great restaurants in the area and especially enjoyed the local dishes which came with several tasty sides.
Nearby places visited in order (all good): Day 1. Toraille Waterfall, New Jerusalem Mineral Baths, Grand Eden Estate (booked tour); 2. Soufrière DriveIn Volcano ($15 combo ticket bought there: mineral/mud baths + tour + access to Sulphur Springs Park Interpretation Centre), Fond Doux Eco Resort. (45-min “A Taste of Fond Doux Private Walking Tour” booked through TripAdvisor), Têt Paul Nature Trail, Malgretoute Beach, Piton Falls + mineral baths; 3. Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, Anse Mamin Beach. Other 4 days we went elsewhere on St Lucia.
Nearby Restaurants we had dinner at (all good; most selected for view to enjoy while eating): Dream Restaurant, La Belvedere, Mango Tree*, Seashell Beach Restaurant, The View*, and Treetop*. *reservation recommended/needed.
USD cash and credit cards accepted everywhere. No need to exchange money. Recommend bringing lots of small bills for tips and to be able to pay exact amount for fees to avoid getting change in XCD.
Best to rent car. 4WD needed. Main roads in St Lucia are fairly good (being re-surfaced early in 2025) albeit narrow with many switchbacks, those leading to beaches and other places worth visiting are very narrow and rough with lots of potholes. Drive on left in St Lucia."

The property is strategically located right on front of villa beach. Literally the atlantic is 20 metres away from your balcony. The rooms are very comfortable with a large tv, 2 seater and 1 seater chair and a very comfortable queen size bed. You have really fast internet and the kitchen had everything so i did a lot of cooking. There is a supermarket up the road and it is a 11 min drive away from rodney bay where the mall and restaurants and nightlife is. I would advise you also get a car rental through them.

Communication prior and during the stay was great, easy and very fast.
They arranged transfers, a great driver/guide for a day trip. They also arrange car rental.
Beautiful view, it does not get better than that. On site restaurant for breakfast, dinner with very competitive prices.
The garden and pool area is very relaxing, you can pick your own fruit.
10 min walk to the pier to get the small beach shuttle (takes you to Marigot dive/beach resort). There are also other restaurants at the pier.
The room is super cozy, tastefully designed. The reception offers free coffee and cookies, water throughout the day.
Ann and Danny are on site, should you need anything. Fantastic hosts, taking care of small details.
St Lucia has thousands of accomodation, I truly can recommend this one!

Sooo beautiful! Looked like I was in a magazine. The rooms are stunning too, can’t go wrong with any of them. The bar is great. The food is great. The owner we met is great. All staff is great.
