The apartment was in perfect condition. So clean. Great view. Comfortable bed. Sea 🌊 is right in the front. Having laundry machine was perfect to wash clothes. It was like home away from home. The pool was great too. Also few restaurants near by in walking distance. The owner was very easy to communicate on what’s app. She left us some snacks and ramen as well. Thanks

Our one-night stay at Cameron Highlands Resort was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped in, we were transported to a different era — the entire property exudes an old-English charm, like something out of the early 90s. Warm, cozy, and full of character, the ambience was absolutely pitch-perfect for a mountain retreat. The staff were incredibly courteous and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A simple but thoughtful gesture really stood out — we had brought strawberries from a nearby farm, and they kindly washed and beautifully presented them for us without us even asking. That’s the kind of personalized service that makes a stay truly memorable. The common areas of the resort are equally impressive — from a charming grand hall with a fireplace to large koi ponds filled with majestic fish. It all adds to the resort’s serene and sophisticated atmosphere. Breakfast was served à la carte and every bite was divine. You could tell great care went into the flavors and presentation — it felt more like a fine-dining experience than a typical hotel breakfast. If there’s one thing I regret, it’s that we couldn’t stay longer. I genuinely wish I had at least one more night to soak it all in, but we had a flight to catch. Still, this brief escape will stay with us for a long time. Highly, highly recommended — whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat into the hills, Cameron Highlands Resort delivers an experience that is both nostalgic and luxurious.

Cozy, classic feel. Had everything. Don't understand why people bash the breakfast when it is a 3* hotel. Room was very comfy and huge! We got the view of Mount Brinchang from our balcony. Every night was cool @ 17/18°C. Had snooker table. Fitness centre, library, business centre.. Cafe.. Just a drive out is Tanah Rata centre, with pasar malam and lots of cafe and eateries.. Bathroom was huge with bathtub and separate shower area. Small spread of local fried rice, noodles, western breakfast with selection of coffee, tea, orange and guava juice. Please don't expect 6* from a 3* hotel. Feels a 4* for us. Family wanna book the same room next time we're coming back. 👍🏼

The Staff are very courteous and friendly . Arrived at the place very early and we were accommodated by Mr. John Mark Frias and his staff for early check-in and even upgraded our Family Room to 2 Bedroom Suite with no extra charge. He even offered us an alternative option to see the Japanese Garden while waiting for our room which actually a great idea. I really like the serenity and calmness of it.

Jungle immersion : forest sounds and songs, animals, extravagant vegetation. Canoe excursion = perfect introduction. Remote location, not too busy with tourists at this time of the year (April); extra solo trip in the jungle. Relaxing moment on the beach by the river after day trek + swimming in perfect temperature waters. Night excursion with guide to spot giant ants, stick insects as well as phosphorescent scorpions.

My wife and I visited Taman Sedia for a hike. We managed to hike a short distance from the Park entrance to Gunung Berundum. One of the highlights was our visit to the new Shiori Onsen in Jalan Palas Horizon. It is newly open for just over 6 months. The place was very tastefully set up. We also visited The Big Red Strawberry Farm in Brinchang and enjoyed the tea and snacks served there other than the freshly picked strawberries.

Less chaotic than Brinchang and the areas around Kea Farm. Traffic between Brinchang and Kea can be rather stressful on weekends. There's lots of food choices around Tanah Rata alone as well as an Agro Market. I'd definitely recommend Tanah Rata should you want a quieter stay in Cameron Highlands.

Our temple fellowship trip was a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy beautiful scenery, and strengthen our bonds through meaningful temple activities. It was a joyful time meeting fellow members, sharing experiences, and creating precious memories together. The peaceful surroundings allowed everyone to unwind and appreciate nature while participating in our spiritual journey. Although the seafood dinner did not meet our expectations, everything else throughout the trip was well organized and enjoyable. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this gathering a success and to all participants for their warm friendship and cooperation. May our fellowship continue to grow stronger, and we look forward to many more meaningful journeys together in the future. Thank you all for your support and companionship.

Flora Park Shuttle

Flora Park Shuttle We headed to the Flora Park pick-up spot and hopped into the official 4WD jeep shuttle (RM50 per person, including park entry) for a rugged, steep ride up the hill. Flora Park The landscaped floral pathways were absolutely stunning. The climb up to the outdoor hilltop area was a serious workout, but we powered through to the top and rewarded ourselves with snacks and cold drinks at the scenic hilltop café before heading down. Sungei Palas Tea Garden Visited Cameron’s most iconic tea plantation. Halfway up to J.A.'s Balcony — the dramatic glass-walled cafe perched over the valley — it started to rain. We took cover, enjoyed the cozy tea views, and as luck would have it, the rain cleared up just in time for us to snap photos of the tea fields under crisp blue skies. Jin Jin Steamboat Dinner Guided by glowing Google reviews. Decide to have dinner here. The food was fantastic and the portions were massive. Dinner at OK Tuck Restaurant Tried OK Tuck Restaurant based on good Google reviews too. It was full, so there was a 30-minute wait for a table. The delicious food made the wait worth it.

Cherating is a nice place to stay due to its beach, scenery, food and resorts, hotels nearby. But during peak season, u need to plan much earlier to avoid staying in discomfort resorts or old resorts or old hotel. You can find a good resort with nice environment and scenery if u have ample time to make a research or survey and surprisingly there are upcoming resorts which i am looking to stay but its fully occupied.
