"i went as a solo female backpacker, i love a good party, i love the beach and i love good food! and i had all!! its actually just paradise on earth. theres only 2 bars so youll meet everyone, there is also a little walk you can do to get to the otherside to have dinner and watch the sunset which is really fun. the restraunts have really yummy and reasonably priced food. I reccomend getting cash out before you go and stocking up on sunscreen, cigarettes, aloe vera and water before you go because the little shops there are expensive due to the importation efforts. you absolutely MUST do day tours as well, the sights are unmatched and super cheap, there is tour vendors all over the beach you wont have a hard time organsiing anything. also youll most likely find the love of your life there but dont hold me to that. if you want to go diving or get your diving license this is also the place as packages are super cheap and often include accomodation and food."

PakistanThe Chalet was on the bigger Island Besar. It had the beach Teluk Pauh within walking distance and the turtle beach was 5 minutes away by the boat Taxi. Both the beaches were truly amazing.
The Check in time was really flexible. We checked in around 12pm and it was no problem. The people at the reception were very helpful and always available. The place is really cute. You have hammocks and sunbeds.

The staff were very nice and helpful. We arrived on the island early and were able to check in early since the room we booked was ready. The room was clean, well maintained, and had sufficient facilities—good enough for an island stay. I had read quite a number of bad reviews before booking, so I was a little sceptical. But for me, it was a really good stay and a great chalet. I also loved the location—not too quiet or secluded, but private enough to have the beach mostly to yourself, with fewer people and fewer boats around. Aircond worked well, there is hot water (shower) as well. The food at the restaurant is good as well I would say.
Overall, a great stay and will definitely repeat my stay here. Clean, wooden floors, very cozy. If you are afraid of insect/mosquito problem, just bring the necessary items beforehand as precaution. But my friend and I personally did not have any issue in that regard. You may need it for other parts on the island, I'm not too sure.

Lovely location right next to the beach (and very near Tuna Bay which is the pickup / dropoff point for many boats / ferries), could see lots of fish (early morning / evening) and even baby sharks in the evening. The staff are super duper lovely and helpful, they tried their best to make our stay enjoyable. They helped with booking tours and ferries. There was banana cake everyday for guests. The staff were the best part of my stay!
The room (standard double) is not fancy but also nothing to scoff at - it had everything we needed. Good aircon, strong water flow in the bathroom, everything was comfortable.

An excellent hotel, very comfortable and clean. The staff, especially the cleaning boys and porters aren't truly nice. Personnel at the restaurant, just correct. The hotel is not the cheapest option in that part of the island, but the price is well justified by the quality it offers. The location is also perfect: there is a coral reef right in the small bay where the hotel is situated. Although the reef is quite degraded, it still supports a wide variety of species.

The BuBu Villa offers many private services like scuba diving and taxi boat only for their guest which is very comfortable!
The food at the hotel was awesome: breakfast, lunch and dinner, anytime!
The complementary services were also awesome!

a really great stay. we’d been on the other island and staying on Long Beach and we were so happy when we moved over here because we paid a similar price for a MUCH nicer place and we liked how quiet this island was, especially in the off season. the room was clean, the bathroom was nice. we weren’t in a chalet but the block of rooms, everything is so close to the beach though.

Everything with no exaggeration! The place is lovely, secluded, their trips are AMAZING to say the least,the food is GORGEOUS, especially the seafood and their staff are so so so so friendly. We had some small hiccups with the transfers to/from the airport,but they handled them so well,I can only see it as a positive.

The property was made out of relatively nice materials, warm shower, 24 hours energy supply, free water for drinking, very nice and friendly attached a restaurant with food international and Thai Food mixed, the diving center attached as well to the hotel delivers first class diving service!!!😀

Great location in Coral Bay. We swam right in front every evening watching the sunset. It was right next to our dive center and they even brought our breakfast to our room every morning early before our dives. The bed was also really comfortable!

Clear waters with beautiful marine life.
Clear waters with beautiful marine life. It's peaceful and definitely a place to unwind and de-stress. Lots of nice eating places and I like it that the resort is non alcohol place. It's very convenient to pay for resort airport and boat transfer. Fantastic snorkelling places and so much activities to do like massage and hiking plus diving.

4. Tuna Bay served fantastic food and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were not even staying at their resort but they treated us like we were special guests.

The islands are beautiful and the snorkeling is spellbinding...
The islands are beautiful and the snorkeling is spellbinding . Loved running on the beaches at sunrise and the sunsets can be stunning. Only negative is the sea crossing which can be truly terrifying if you are in one of the smaller boats.

Perhentian island is beautiful.
Perhentian island is beautiful. It is easy to get around to the different beaches with water taxis. There are 2 islands and the waters are crystal clear ideal for diving and snorkeling. You are almost guaranteed to see seas turtles and black tip reef sharks. Bring your sunscreen!
