Very response staff - instructions to enter the property very late at night were easy to follow.
Very big room, and if I come back with the family I’d certainly consider staying here again.
Window looked out onto the trees - which was very pleasant.
The breakfast basket was a really nice touch too 😊

We enjoyed our stay there a lot. Our holiday home was very beautiful, in a calm spot with other houses, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and the host was very kind and helpful. There was nothing to complain about.

Hostess fantastic & very helpful, parking-wifi-comfort all great even had proper smoke detectors which I seldom see. We rarely do Breakfast but this one was really worth the value and had it all 3 mornings. We’ll be returning again next year.

If you like the countryside you will love these apartments. Private and quiet. One of the best properties I've ever visited. It's a really good place to stay, not too far from interesting cities.

Callantsoog is a nice small town visit for holidays .
Callantsoog is a nice small town visit for holidays . I loved the beach and we found a lovely Mexican café Chulitas for lunch . Good price , friendly staff and lovely decoration.
The DA drugstore sells everything you need on a holiday , practical , hats gloves & slippers , shampoo , basic. medication , gifts toys for kids etc .
The variety in Cafés is nice.
Pancakes at grand café Royal were delicious , large size and very convenient price €8:00- euro

I liked the part of the city I managed to see.
I liked the part of the city I managed to see. The reason I came, was because of the Tall Ship Race, so there were a lot of visitors and much of my time was spent related to the Tall Ship Race. I would like to come back to visit when it's a bit more quiet to see the town and surrounding areas.

Not a lot to do if passing through.
Not a lot to do if passing through. Very good Dekamarkt (supermarket) in walking distance and open Sunday. Maybe good if sailing. We were cycling (from Hoorn that day) doing the Ijsselmeer route (from Ijmuiden ferry port) . Disappointing that the Afsluitdijk is closed to cyclists (free bus on A7 provided from Den Oever) which is not clear from the internet sites but bus driver said closed for 2 years and at least one more.

I have not visited Warmenhuizen.
I have not visited Warmenhuizen. We went to Amsterdam, and drove around in Noord-Holland, stopping at Hoorn, Vollendam and Marken.
Noord-Holland is about the beaches, and its charming towns and villages.

Callantsoog is a nice little spot.
Callantsoog is a nice little spot. For me it was all about reminiscing seeing we spent numerous family vacations nearly 50 years ago. Some cute little shops and eateries but best were the beach pavilions if you want to dine with an ocean view. Prices are reasonable, considering this is a tourist location.

The city is not as beautiful as the rest of the Netherlands, but it is a port city, probably because of that. It is worth staying here because you can easily get to Texel by ferry from here. Our accommodation was not in the city center, but close to the forest and the sea, in a perfect location for nature lovers. It’s worth checking out the Navy Museum (Marine Museum), not all of which were equally interesting, but the submarine, the ships, the mock-ups and some of the paintings are very special.

Lovely place with plenty of walks available for those who want them. Due to fact we visited in February it was unfortunate that several places were on limited opening however we had a fabulous meal at Basalt restaurant. Super sea seafood and excellent service. Local pub also very welcoming (sorry can't remember the name). Lovely community where everyone would acknowledge you with a friendly good morning. Looking forward to going back in the summer months.

This hotel is not good value for money.
This hotel is not good value for money. Our room and balcony were not clean. The ventilation didn't work. The lift didn't work.
There were no basic tea/coffee facilities in the room so a morning brew meant a walk down two floors to the restaurant.
The only good thing about this hotel is the proximity to the beach - approximately 15 minutes walk.

Just a business trip to the Marine Base for a couple of days. Luckily we saw the Lighting Festival here in Den Helder which was AMAZING. Cosy town but nothing special. Visit the restaurants near the West Street / Navy museum!
