Penny and Hendrik were phenomenal hosts, all of our messages were answered promptly and they were very attentive; their cabin is stunning, perfectly located up the mountain with a gorgeous view. The cabin is very modern and has everything you could possibly need during your stay, everything was spotless and ready for our arrival.
The cabin is in a great spot, only a few minutes away by car from the grocery store, and within walking distance from the ski slopes.
We loved staying here and look forward to coming back in the future!

Really nice, cozy, clean and well organised place with great and helpfull people. They offer free use of canoe and boat. The shower is free and limiter only by your decency. Location is great and the rules are clear. We really enjoyed the stay.

We went to Fyresdal because it was the birthplace of my mother’s father. We were able to connect with a local that helped to find the location of my family’s farm.
We enjoyed a stroll through the cemeteries to find family grave sites.
The only thing that would have made it better would have been to connect with family members!
