Overall, it was absolutely fantastic. The best part? I saw the Northern Lights for the first time in my life — right from the balcony! It was an incredible experience and I couldn’t be more excited. Highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Yttersia Base in Senja. The location is ideal for exploring the island, rooms are comfortable and spacious, and there's a supermarket conveniently just across the road. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and dinner with a warm, friendly team. What truly made our stay exceptional was the owner, Markus - a genuinely welcoming host who also guided us on a spectacular ski touring trip in the nearby mountains. Highly recommended! We're already looking forward to returning to Yttersia Base - hopefully soon!

Amazing place to stay Cozy and comfortable just like back to home Our trip had some hiccups. It was our first time with an electric car. Finding a charger was tough, and we didn't charge it enough. So, we arrived really late at night.What a pity to only book one night here. The weather was clear, perfect for seeing the Northern Lights, but sadly, we're leaving tonight. Everything! Leif is such a friendly host, he even baked us a loaf of bread during our arrival! Combined with the beautiful cabin and the views, it completes our stay! We even managed to capture the aurora on our 1st night staying there! Really recommended to stay here!
