The location was just perfect. The staff was very comparative and hospitable, especially Saqlain and Sadam. They really made us feel like home away from home. The food was amazing. Cheif Usman was just too good. Overall, it was an exceptionally good experience and definite visit again.

Pros: Beautiful clean homy hotel with quality furnitures and secure location. Very friendly and attentive staff and owner. Good location. Standby generator. Decent wifi at 10-20 at mbps. Strong hot and cold water supply. They provide private tours at reasonable prices. Cons: None really. Side Note for Travellers: (Not hotel fault). The constant power outages are really annoying. While there is basic light and fan supported by the generator you cannot charge your phones nor operate the aircon and TV. Careem rides are also difficult to book in Peshawar in general.

Naran is a gateway to the actual wonders of nature in the north. Naran itself doesn't carry much value to stay there for a longer period. The roads are patch but the repair work is in progress. During vacations, expect traffic jams in Naran.

Nathiagali is a beautiful place but honestly, it has become a tourist trap in terms of pricing. Everything — and I mean everything — is overpriced. Hotels charge unreasonably high rates for very average facilities. Food is expensive for what you actually get on your plate. Transport is shockingly costly — local drivers and vehicles charge double or even triple the fair price, knowing tourists have no other option. Shopkeepers charge whatever they feel like, with no fixed prices and no shame. The natural beauty is there, but the excessive commercialization and greed have ruined the overall experience. Visit for the views, but be prepared to be overcharged at every single step.

Peshawar itself a good city for tour. There were many heritage places to visit like Jamrud fort, Sethi House Museum, Bala Hisar Fort, Qissa Khwani Bazaar, Peshawar Museum, Shahi Bagh, Sethial Street, Peshawar Zoo Etc. More important poeple are very hospitable.

Firstly, off road vehicle is recommended. Surrounding valleys are full of beautiful spots and breath taking views. Nasarullah lake, Blue water point, Utror valley and hill top-kalam are the highlights and top recommended. The worst thing encountered is the litter and trash all around kalam, ushu and mahudand lake. Even no goverment machinery was seen there. Though, we as a nation are ill-mannered yet there was no counter measures were seen. This aspect needs prime importance as we are disturbing nature and our spots bcoz international tourism is very expensive and we are bent upon spoiling ours.

Swat is a good place to commute to, not a lot to visit here.

Swat is a good place to commute to, not a lot to visit here. Most travelers stay here along their long trips to other northern cities like Kalam, Naran, Kaghan, etc. So most of the stays are for one night. People are very hospitable in this area. I ate biryani with an Al-baik chicken broast from the market in Mingora. It was a good dinner in portion and the quality was good as well. You can visit that place by talking to your hotel manager or trying to get a taxi yourself, cos Uber doesn't work. Breakfast was in my hotel so no wandering around for that. I would avoid trusting some people with all of my heart especially the extreme lower class. Because some people tries to make a fool of you. Beware of that, pick a manager or a person u trust and navigate with them.

The town offers pleasant weather in the summer and great views of the mountains and valleys in Northern Punjab and KP. However, the rate of development in the town is unsustainable leading to overcrowding, a breakdown of social cohesion and degradation of public as well as private tourist facilities and public services. The best times to visit are in early Summer (Apr - May) and late Summer (Mid-Aug - Sep).

It's a retreat from hectic life..

It's a retreat from hectic life..You can walk or trek and enjoy the clean air ,cool temp and the lovely views..It was moderately busy as we went there on week days. You can get local cuisine and some fast food too from the bazar.. The things are a bit pricey..Making Ayubia the base one can go to Kanaspur and walk the 4km track to Dunga Gali to hike up the Mushpuri trail ,very scenic.. People are simple and friendly unlike Murree..Make you feel very welcome.
