The location was just perfect. The staff was very comparative and hospitable, especially Saqlain and Sadam. They really made us feel like home away from home. The food was amazing. Cheif Usman was just too good. Overall, it was an exceptionally good experience and definite visit again.

Kuwait continental hotel Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The only good thing was the location and nearby water view, but overall the hotel did not provide value for money. The natural beauty of Kalam is great, but the hotel itself did not enhance the experience.

Firstly, off road vehicle is recommended.

Firstly, off road vehicle is recommended. Surrounding valleys are full of beautiful spots and breath taking views. Nasarullah lake, Blue water point, Utror valley and hill top-kalam are the highlights and top recommended. The worst thing encountered is the litter and trash all around kalam, ushu and mahudand lake. Even no goverment machinery was seen there. Though, we as a nation are ill-mannered yet there was no counter measures were seen. This aspect needs prime importance as we are disturbing nature and our spots bcoz international tourism is very expensive and we are bent upon spoiling ours.

We went upto the glacier which was actually not too great as...

We went upto the glacier which was actually not too great as it was full of mud and dirty. Also we went to chota mohadand (artificial lake) which was a disaster as there was no electricity after sunset and we had ordered food which was delayed and we had to cancel the order. Very disappointed. On our way back to the Glamping Spot (where we stayed) there was heavy traffic and we took almost two hours to reach the site. Luckily we ordered food over phone and when we reached it was just about ready (live barbeque).

It used to be a great place for holidays but now there is a lot of commercial activity with unregulated construction has damaged the natural beauty of the valley and its outskirts. The road from Bahrain to Kalam is broken in patches and is not recommended for small cars. Not recommended to visit unless you have a plan to explore valleys around and outskirts with less population.

I started my journey from islamabad to Kalam valley.

I started my journey from islamabad to Kalam valley. In the month of June, it was too hot in Swat and Bahrain (40 and 41 C). In kalam weather was bit normal till 30 C. The road has broken patches from Bahrain till Kalam valley.
