This is our favourite hotel in Horta. It’s a grand, historic place that is also a landmark for the sea port. Home of the transatlantic cable, the flying clippers, and sailors from around the world. It’s our 3rd stay here, very consistent , great breakfast, and perfect views of the harbour. It’s close to the ferry terminal , and to the beautiful piers that berth some of the most loved tall ships. Service at the hotel is outstanding. And don’t forget to have a swim in the lovely pool (indoor and out). We are already looking forward to our next stay here. Thank you to all the staff.

Like was a place it's all I didn't know that's really calm down and in this hotels is really clean and you don't have too much noise and then you have breakfast in the morning and it's really cheap and people are really nice and good condition

Everything was fantastic. Very nice rooms and neatly built area, it is running by a lovely family who makes your stay more comfortable and you feel like home! The views and the location are breathtaking. Breakfast is rich and delicious from products locally grown. You can have dinner there prepared by the family and with fresh and local products. very tasty and recommended!

Horta Bay enjoys a location in Horta, a 12-minute walk from Praia da Conceição and 1.3 miles from Praia de Porto Pim.

We honestly wish we had stayed for more than one night. The house has a wonderful atmosphere and feels incredibly welcoming. You can see how much care and effort the hosts have put into making guests feel comfortable and at home. One of the highlights was the beautifully prepared breakfast table. Everything was arranged with great attention to detail and made us feel truly welcome. The house had everything we needed, including plenty of towels, a hairdryer, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The garden is absolutely stunning, with an impressive collection of succulents, beautiful plants, and lovely outdoor spaces. The entire property is full of character and charm. We also loved the friendly dog and the warm feeling of the whole place. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and overall the house felt like a place where you could happily spend much longer than a single night. We were actually sad to leave and would have gladly stayed longer if we hadn't already had tickets to leave the island.
