Traveling with My 1 year old and arriving early, check in wasn’t for a decent amount of time but they were able to thankfully get Me a room ready within a hour and a half. Comes with breakfast. Has a bar and food available for lunch or dinner. There is a kids room which I enjoyed. Not far of a walk from the center and was nice to see the animals. Beautiful view from room!

Casa da ViVi is a traditional house tucked away in a beautiful valley just outside the village of Santo Espirito and about 10 minutes from the spectacular Bay of Sao Laurenco. The house is spacious and comfortable, with lovely furnishings (including several antiques), a fireplace, a patio, a big-screen TV, and excellent WiFi. The hosts, Sergio and Vitoria, live in the house next door and are warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. We're so glad we found this place and look forward to staying there again. Highly recommended.

This gorgeous little house, right on the edge of the sea in the tiny port of Dos Anjos, is beautifully set up and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. It is quiet and feels secluded, but just about everything on the island of Santa Maria is reachable in 10-20 minutes by car. It was delightful to return to this jewel of a place after exploring Santa Maria all day, to dine on the terrace and to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Our hosts, Natercia and Paulo, were superb, from the delicious eggs they provided from their own hens, to the coffee and snacks. They were very kind and attentive without being intrusive. We would definitely like to stay here again!
