This was a beautiful old house in a beautiful green and quiet setting, with garden and old trees. The owners are lovely and very helpful, though only the son speaks English. The location is only wonderful if you have a car and if you plan to do bike rides. If you look for a quiet and calm place, you got it. The breakfast buffet was quite good, though early from 7-9 during the week. I only booked it as anything closer to and affordable in Stockholm was unavailable.

Gotes far exceeded my expectations! It was a beautiful, large apartment with kitchen, separate bedroom, and full en suite bathroom. It was nicer than the $$$ hotel I had previously stayed at in Stockholm city. The owner, “Guy,” was very welcoming and also responded immediately when I texted him with a question. Breakfast components were left in the frig for me to eat at my leisure in the morning. There was so much food that I felt a bit guilty as I was just a solo traveler on a bike tour. There’s a small pizza restaurant about 400m away that’s easy to walk to.

Cleanliness, the comfort of checking in without any staff, at any given time after the check-in time. The train station is conveniently close and the elevator goes almost to the train station. The exit was 50m away from the railroad. The prices are great, but I guess the cons make up for it.

Huddinge centrum has some nice shopping.

Huddinge centrum has some nice shopping. It has most everything you want. Not crowded, rather very relaxed. It is next to pendeltåg station so no long walks to get there. There is a post office and a nice bakery inside/next to COOP grocery store. Love the Swedish bakery.

Just a suburb of Stockholm with absolutely nothing to do (aside of the work that took me to Södertörn University, and might take you to the Karolinska Institute). Best not to stay there, but in the city center and commute by train.
