A small value hotel close to Novo Mesto, in the vicinity of the main highway, excellent for an overnight stay. If your expectations are realistic (a place to sleep over and have some breakfast before moving on), it gets the job done perfectly. The bed is among the most comfortable I have ever tried in a hotel, and the breakfast is really great - the lady in charge appeared to bring over more and more food for us, and all was of great quality. She also responds to messages kindly and immediately and is very nice and hospitable overall. If you arrive later in the day or evening, and no one is at work in the hotel, expect a message with a code for the small lock next to the door in which you will find the entry card (works for the main enterance to the hotel and the room).

Mainly the place is wonderful for us we live the outdoor hicking fishing etc... But the best host is Simon he was so busy, short because two staff were sick operation, but he took his time to embrace everyone good by!! During our few days there he was very attentive and always making sure the guest were having a good time at his place.. We are retired couple my husband From California and me from Costa Rica traveling the world.. Highly recommend it Hotel Kovac

Restaurant, food and low prices there. Playground for kids. Huge parking. Surrounded with nature. Location i.e. right next to the highway.

The guy who was handling the bookings and prepared the breakfast was super helpful and nice. He prepared the breakfast for us 30mins earlier as we had to leave early. Everything was great

Nice and clean room, the bed was comfortable, even had USB-C PD chargers built in. The bathroom was also exceptional. We had a nice breakfast. All this for a reasonable price. Staff was super friendly, arranged our very late checkin without an issue.

Very polite staff. The dinner was very delicious. Maybe one of the hotel's with the best gastronomy in Europe. Free private parking. Rooms are very big, clean and better then more hotel's with 5 stars. Private SPA on the fifth floor is perfect for couples. Big recommendations for this hotel.

The location is perfect, with plenty of trails for walking and cycling—and even if you stay just within the hotel grounds, you can swim in thermal pools surrounded by beautiful, towering conifers. Swimming out in nature, right in the middle of the forest, is truly a special experience. The food is excellent, offering a wide variety of choices, and the staff is exceptionally friendly.

The front desk staff are THE BEST! They helped me with a million questions, were so kind and welcoming every time I stopped by, and we're just overall some of the best, most welcoming hotel staff I've ever interacted with! The hotel itself has lovely old charm and is ornate and gorgeous, but the rooms are still modern and updated. I was in a room by the elevator but didn't even notice the noise. I had a delightful view onto the courtyard. The spa and wellness area is fantastic with many different options, both for pools and for services. I was able to book 2 services at the last minute, and they were lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. A great buffet with a variety of selections. I was just sad I'm not very hungry in the mornings so I couldn't eat more.

The lady owner was so nice and helpful. I will stay here again.
