"This property is located at the edge of a national park with breathtaking views of the mountains. It is the go-to option for anyone looking to zone out and disconnect from the city buzz and just immerse oneself in everything it has to offer. The restaurant served traditional Slovenian cuisine which was perfect on a cold winter night.
One should bear in mind the means of commute while planning your stay as it is not connected to public transport (at least during the winter). Nevertheless the host was kind enough to ferry me around when needed which was a big plus.
In short, I would recommend Erjavčeva koča to anyone who wishes to spend time with their loved ones, surrounded by mountains on all sides."

Absolutely stunning location - i swear i could have stared at those mountains forever. Perfect as a glamping spot. note that it is glamping - so there still is an aspect of mild roughing it. The huts can get really hot so don’t expect to spend any time in them during the day (we were there late may and it was HOT inside them). The owners provide battery packs and a fan which does help. I loved my stay here and wouldn’t change it for the world but just be prepared that it’s more no frills glamping. You will be hiking up a mountain to get to your tent and be a constant state of mildly sweaty. but the views in my opinion were more than worth it

The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. But by far, the best was the vast and delicious breakfast. Fruit, bread, coffee, waffles, eggs, sausages, croissants, seeds, homemade cheese, yogurt, butter, jams, and even apple strudel. Everything we tried was delicious. Walking down and seeing that kind of breakfast before the 25 km hike that was waiting for us that day made for the best possible start to our day.

Vitranc Apartments perfectly suited our family of three's needs for our 2 day stop in Kransjka Gora. We had a fourth floor room with great views from the balcony, and the bed was quite comfortable! The included pool access at the Ramada Resort next door was also a huge hit with our 3 year old. Shopping, bike rentals, and dining were right across the parking lot. Overall a great stay and good value!

Everything. Biba was very accommodating, quick to respond to messages, upgraded us to a one bedroom apartment, provided a garage for our bicycles. Good location, close to centre. Clean and comfortable. Nice balcony. Well equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop.

Splendid little village with more than enough in the town and a great location for exploring the Julian Alps. The town is not too big but also has all amenities and restauarent choices as well as being superbly kept, clean and having such firendly and helpful locals!

The small village of Mojstrana is at the beginning of the climbing area for Triglav, and the place is amazing—calm and beautiful. Houses and backyards are so clean, and the stream in the center of village is so cute. If you like bike tour there is bike road toward Kranjska Gora.

Rateče is a small village in the northwest corner of Slovenia, literally a few hundred meters from the Italian border. The tourist resort of Kranjska Gora is located 6 km to the east, and the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana 20 km to the east. Very scenic Fusina lakes are 8 km to the west. The interesting little town of Tarvisio is also nearby in Italy. The area offers nice hiking and cycling possibilities, exploring the 19th and early 20th century military fortresses, and also exploring the interesting small baroque churches. Walks in the surroundings of Rateče are fantastically tranquil and relaxing. The area also offers some nice restaurants with traditional food, as well as very tasteful cheeses! Planica Nordic Centre is located 3 km to the south from Rateče. The Alpe Adria Cycling Path runs along the abandoned but very scenic old railway Tarvisio - Jesenice!

Very cozy and peaceful, a 3 minute drive from Kranjska Gora, convenient stays and lodges in the area, there are stunning landscapes surrounding this little village, just perfect. Waterfalls and forests are on walking distance.

Great scenery and nature. Public transport could be improved. Had amazing pizza at a cozy little ski lodge/cottage next to the Bedanc ski resort in Podkoren, it's called "Bife Velika Dolina".

Good starting location for trips to Austria, Italy or Slovenian mountains. We visited fortresses from the First World War period, lakes, Soča river, mountains, mountain passes and a Russian wooden church. We will come back for sure for hiking.

What a lovely place to stay. Easy access to cycle paths to Kranjska Gora. Easy access by car to Triglav routes. Comfy, with a good mix of rustic charm and modern convenience. Make sure to check out Gostlina Ema near lake Bohinj for incredible food in a stunning location.
