The view from this guesthouse is absolutely amazing. We stayed in one of the campers, and it was really cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly large as well. Breakfast was quite simple but dinner was exceptional. We had a 7 course meal of really delicious food for $300 NT per person. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lalashan.

This is a wonderful place! We stayed in a chalet for two nights. The beds were very comfortable, they were heated so it was perfect for a cozy sleep when it’s cold. The room and bathroom were big and clean. The cabin looked very nice. It has a front porch perfect to sit and watch the sunset and dink some coffee. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. We had breakfast and dinner there. The dinner was amazing. It included several courses and they all were delicious! We had a great time staying there! Totally recommend!

Comfortable and big bed (European standards), very big room, everything is clean. Nice breakfast. Wifi works well. Very quiet area. Not many food options around, but there is a nice restaurant with good ramen.

The scenery is beautiful but the traffic is very bad on weekends. Often the road becomes stuck with traffic on one lanes leading to queues of maybe 1 hour extra so be prepared. No toilets or petrol stations on the way up the mountain, windy roads and kids get car sick.
But, once there, the air is fresh, the scenery is beautiful. Try to go during the week.
Try to walk the national park and do the trail near visitor center, though tunnel tour only opens 25 Aug 2023
