Immediately below the train (& bus) stations, on Jiufen Old Street, so location is perfect. As advertised, the hotel does make its own bento box, and it was awesome, although we did also want to try the bento from the station café. We chose the Japanese-style room, with tatami mat bed, and a wooden bath: this created the perfect (unusual for us) experience. The staff were absolutely awesome. The firefly tour was available for free for the hotel guests; we loved this.

Perfect location to see sunrise but it was cloudy we did see it. Fornaturely we saw the beautiful sea-clouds. We had our two dinners at the hotel. We all loved it, variety of vegatables, so so fresh and sweet. All dishes were delicious, yummy food. Fantastic services were provided by the hotel, they recommended car and driver service. The ease for us travelling around in Alishan and Fengqihu. Value for money and highly recommended. Friendly hotel owner and staff.

+ The breakfast was simple but delicious. + The staff were very friendly and took great care of the guests. We asked for directions to bus stations and trails, and they even provided bus timetables and trail maps. + The location is right in front of the parking area and very close to the shuttle bus stop. + Although there is no elevator, they kindly assigned us a room close to the stairs as we had large luggage.

I like the mountain view of the room so much! It have a big balcony and a big window, showing the beautiful mountains! So the room is very bright! And the room is large as well! It should be the best room in my trip! Also, the cat in the hotel is cute, and my kids like playing with her~

Kim from the frontdesk was amazing, very lovely, helpful and friendly. She provided us an itinerary for rainy days which was nice. We received a free upgrade to a room with bathtub. The room was 1 hour before check-in time ready. It was located at the end of the corridor and was quiet, no noise from the corridor or neighbors. It was very clean, the bathroom equipped with a Japanese toilet and linnen also. Beds are very comfortable (for European standards), size is about 160 x 200 cm and we loved the black out curtains. AC worked perfectly and quiet. Western and Asian breakfast available which is different every day, not too much choice but just enough. At the breakfast area you can get free snacks and tea/water throughout the day. Free umbrella service available for rainy days. Recommended!

Alishan B&B YunMinGi has an one-level traditional lovely Taiwanese house and a beautiful contemporary 5-story building, both are connected by a short walkway.

It feels homey and very clean. The room was surprisingly big for us. We spent our honeymoon here for 3 nights and we loved it so much! The views, the breakfast, the staff, the sunrise and the location was great! They sometimes offer free car ride to the bus station. We recommend this for honeymoon! We did not even mind going to the Alisan Sunrise because we were so satisfied with the sunrise and tea garden right in front of the b&b.
