We loved staying in Garden City!

We loved staying in Garden City! The restaurants we tried were great, along with the raspberry shakes which are amazing. There's plenty of access to the lake, and Mikes Market had everything we needed. We loved seeing the Pickleville show. We can't wait to get back to Garden City!

Bloomington is a nice quiet farming area.

Bloomington is a nice quiet farming area. About 10 miles to North Beach Bear Lake in Idaho. Definitely worth the drive to have the quiet and less traffic of Garden City. No restaurants around but we brought our own food and did travel to Garden City for Pizza on our last night in town.

St. Charles is a very small town.

St. Charles is a very small town. The attraction in the area is Bear Lake and it is right next to the north shore of the lake. There are shops for groceries and fishing gear in the town. But be prepared. You may not be able to get everything you want without going to Montplier about 20 miles north.

That great house (beachfront haven) in Laketown is on the...

That great house (beachfront haven) in Laketown is on the east side of gorgeous Bear Lake - and we loved it!!! It's away from the busyness and traffic of Garden City, so it really feels like vacation and peacefulness. Every night we watched a gorgeous sunset over the lake! Close enough to Garden City to get stuff if needed, but best to plan ahead with food etc. There are some cute restaurants (raspberry shakes) and a gas station nearby. What is great is that the water level goes down quickly on this side (so one can swim and boat easily), plus there is direct access to the bike trail that goes around the lake - without traffic!

Perfect for our siblings family trip and all our babies!

Perfect for our siblings family trip and all our babies! The house accommodation was awesome big space lots to do and everything we needed was available! Ideal beach was fun and the activity park kept us going with fun and the local pizza was yummy!
