"You couldn’t beat the location. Across the street from several stores and restaurants. The pick up for the Denali bus tours and shuttles were right in front of the main building. The staff was exceptional. Our room was a suite with 2 TVs. We did miss having a desk but otherwise we had what we needed. Very clean facility with a very nice walk in shower. Also plenty of laundry facilities to do wash. Would stay here again and highly recommend."
This vacation home offers free private parking, an ATM, and free Wifi. A tour desk can provide info on the area.

The name says it all. The upstairs suite had amazing views and was very roomy and comfortable. The area was great for walking and we saw 2 moose next to the street.

We stayed in the Blue Cabin and felt like we were in a home away from home. Close to great restaurants and the town supermarket.

I loved the view from my balcony!! It was so peaceful listening to the river flow by below while I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee. 😌 The staff was very friendly and helpful during our check-in. Your gift shop has a nice selection of area items to choose from.

For being so close to Denali State Park and being so reasonably price I was not expecting to have a stay this nice! The room was perfect for 3 people, the bathroom was a touch small but overall I can’t complain!

Great Visitor Center to learn about park including multiple movies - sled dog movie a must. Transit bus has inferior windows that are hard to see through though getting out and hiking at the end was worth the ride. Three to four days' worth of well-maintained trails to explore within the first 15 miles. Very crowded in July but once you are on a trail, people thin out. No healthy pescatarian dining options in park but several just outside the park. Need to ride out to mile 13 to 14 to see the mountain on a clear day. Discovery tours fill up faster than transit busses - get those reserved in advance - not sure how far since we were not able to get on one - much better windows but you cannot get out to hike.

There was something for everyone.
There was something for everyone. For those who don't like or can't hike there were bus rides though the park. It provided great views of the area and of Mt. McKinley, when it is not covered by fog. For hikers there were plenty of nicely mark trails. It is worth the visit. The road through the park was closed past mile 43 due to rock slides. I understand it is scheduled to open in 2027. There are no private vehicle allowed past mile 13, but a bus service is available to mile 43 for a fee. Denali National Park is the only national park with a dog sled team. Daily presentations of the dog sled team is given during the summer months for free and is well worth seeing. It only takes a couple of hours. The visitor center has some nice presentations of the park animals. There are restrooms near the visitor center, a restaurant, and a bus depot nearby. There are easy hikes from the visitor center on clearly mark paths, mostly flat, for those who are not serious hikers. They are great for children.
Hit the road and make the most of your trip by discovering another popular destination in the United States.
