PolandThis is self automated very cute modern and clean lodge in prime location. I was able to check in automatically door code was sent to me. I call 3 times and always got excellent help. Further I was able to park my car there a day before when I was in dire straits and needed to go to the show and there was no parking. Even if I was not a guest yet they allowed me to park which saved the show! I would go back there any time. I wish I found it earlier on my trip!

Fantastic facilities. Sauna, spa, heated pool, gym. Bryan was very welcoming. It is so close to Lake Tahoe. Close to Emerald Bay for hiking. Comfortable beds, great bathroom, kitchen area with utensils. We enjoyed our stay.

I have always loved Tahoe.
I have always loved Tahoe. I have been there numerous times. Unfortunately most is run by California, so expect the extra high costs. South Tahoe is the best part for the nightlife on the lake. If you want less hustle stay on the north shore. It is a long drive around the lake due to its size and the low speed limits. Not to mention a lot of tourist activity in the south. One of my favorite spots is Emerald Bay. It does get busy and not a whole lot of parking. The earlier the better

Crowded, no parking other than very high fee parking. Parks and other places full to capacity with no admittance without reservations. Traffic volume higher than road design can handle for smooth traffic flow during peak hours. Wait staff jaded.

This town is secluded, but it can be noisy.
This town is secluded, but it can be noisy. Close to the hospital, hearing emergency vehicles constantly as the hotel is on the main highway. There is only one main street in and out of town, making it very easy to get around. Good location to get to other sights.

We didn't go to Genoa on our most recent trip (it's 3 miles from Walley's Resort), but we have on other occasions. It's a fun little town with a lot of interesting history. There's a well-paved walking/biking pathway from the resort if you want to visit the town and want an alternative to driving.

Experience was not that great , my kids took swimming...
Experience was not that great , my kids took swimming consumes but pool was not in service. They were so sad. In room there are not phone , you need to call the number from your phone . But after calling multiple time i need to go to downstair and wait for 10 mins due to line to talk with reception .

I recommend Zephyr Cove for any time of year to get away from the city. Many activities to keep you busy.
Delicious breakfast at the Tahoe Bagel.
It was fantastic to go out to the Emerald Bay in small ship to relax and enjoy a few drinks.

What wasn't so great is that we couldn't stay longer. There is a lot to say, but I would just say take time and visit as many places as possible. Our family was able to visit Emerald bay, Eagle Lake, Zephyr Cove and some view points. It would take me too long to give a fair description, it is beautiful 😍 clear water, breath-taking views, visiting in the summer was amazing, the water was not as cold as we expected, we all enjoyed it everywhere we went.

Stateline is undergoing a huge transformation.
Stateline is undergoing a huge transformation. Harveys is being re-branded with a ton of construction. Inside was seriously a shell of itself. Golden Nugget is also under construction and remodel. The whole area just felt run down. Not the Stateline we remembered from years past. I am sure it will improve once construction ends, but at this time it is a work in progress.

Genoa is a quaint historic gem of a city with lots of deer...
Genoa is a quaint historic gem of a city with lots of deer as residents. Several delicious restaurants are in town. It’s quiet and secluded. I stayed at David Wally’s Resort for about 5 months on a business trip once and fell in love with Genoa. I wish I could afford to live there will all of the spectacular views.

Travel to Tahoe during long weekend is hard, all nearby...
Travel to Tahoe during long weekend is hard, all nearby hotels are super expensive. This one will give you addtional 20min driving but will save at least 300-400 dollar hotel fee. Facility is new and nice space to stay.
But resturant near by are closed earlier and not too many things to do.
