"Service oriented community with plenty of choices for entertainment and weather was great for relaxing by pool or outside activities. Easy transit to downtown core (2.5 miles). If exploring the area for the first, an automobile would be recommended. Spencers & Valura were our favorite restaurants, but nearby Monsoon a great ethnic choice for Indian food. PSCC Tuesday shows and the Museum an absolute must,"

"It was beautiful as represented! Our room was nicer than I expected- very comfortable. It was great being so close- quick walk- to the pools. The staff- all of them- everywhere- were so nice and focused on making sure we had a great experience. I recommend the Living Desert Zoo- Indian Canyons- Palm Springs Tram. Wish we had made it to the Palm Springs Downtown Friday Market! The resort was quiet and relaxing- just what we needed!"

"I love Desert Hot Springs for the mineral water and more chilled vibe. There are also points of interest like Cabot's Pueblo and the Mission Creek Preserve that allow you to learn about this city and the desert. The water is wonderful and great for so many ailments. You can easily get to Joshua Tree in an hour, or other great spots in the desert. Also, while Desert Hot Springs looks a little down market compared to Palm Springs, there are great food options that are a little cheaper and much closer than Palm Springs. Desert Hot Springs is a great place to enjoy, especially in the winter."

"Erin was a fantastic host who came out and gave us a friendly welcome and quick rundown of the yurt and amenities. The location is close to the highway, making it convenient to get to, but still has a rural feel. Everything was great for our one night stay, and very unique experience I’d definitely recommend. I was skeptical of the a/c working well enough with almost 40°C temperatures, but it was sufficient and we slept comfortably. The outside shower was awesome as well. Maybe not the warmest, but nice to freshen up after being in the desert heat all day. For $320 CAD (after taxes and fees) for our one night it was a little pricey, but definitely an experience we can check off the list. I’m telling you, the desert sunset/sunrise can’t be beat, and the beds were super comfy. 28 palms ranch was awesome!"

I could have even brought a friend or two with me because the casita was very spacious with complimentary snacks left on the counter for me! So thoughtful. The check in process was seamless with a text giving me my access code. The staff was extremely kind and communicative via text and phone. They even recommended all the best local restaurants and excursions! I will 100% return to stay here next time I visit Palm Springs. Great value for an excellent location in La Quinta!"

What a great place to stay! Fantastic from before arrival communication to after departure. The instructions for after hour arrival were clear, the carpark behind the block is easy. The garden/pool area is lovely with very thoughtful touches. The pool/garden chairs are orientated towards the sun (so many focus on having them facing the pool which is not always ideal). They are comfy with shaded areas or in the sun - user preference. Ice machine and water station (hot/cold). Small spa next to the pool. The lobby is small and cute. Extra supplies available - soaps, shampoos, drinks, sweets/candy etc. Blankets available if chilly. The room was lovely and large. Well thought with lights in the correct location, coffee machine (would have preferred Nespresso but I do appreciate the hotel is in USA). Little snack pack and few fridge items upon arrival. The sink area had plenty of space to spread out, the shower was forceful and large (yeah). The decor was lovely. The flooring was sisal so a little rough on the feet but you can ask for slippers and they arrived quickly. Pool towels available. The toiletry supplies were premium…not nasty motel stock. Overall, I just thought it was great - felt like home and we felt joy staying here. The only issue (which is not really an issue) is that the aircon was limited to COLD or off. We worked around it as the weather was mild. In fairness they advised this before we arrived. I think a limitation of the aircon supplying the block. They had a heater in the room (and a fan) and that was all that we needed. It did not impact our enjoyment of staying here. Would I stay again? - In a heartbeat - it was fabulous.

It was a very calm and pleasant place. All of the staff were very kind ! Extra love for Monica , who I believe is the manager, and William at the front desk. The units were very spacious! Yes, they are a bit outdated, and some areas could use some sprucing up, but that is not something that concerns me. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool area was very comfortable.

Kitchen was clean with stove, Microwave, dishwasher, a big refrigerator w/freezer even had ice trays and pots, pans and silverware. Joshua Tree is an incredible place that truly feels like another planet. The landscape is unlike anything we've seen before, with unique rock formations and Joshua trees stretching as far as the eye can see. The hikes are manageable and each trail offers something different, making it easy to explore even in a short visit. The town itself is small and charming, with some great food spots to enjoy after a day in the park.

We were there maybe an hour. Smelly, old 0ld carpet, lumpy worn out sofa and bed. Tried two different rooms. Cannot get through to front desk by phone had to traverse the enormous grounds which would be nice but not Ada friendly. Customer service is non existent and front desk not empowered to run a resort and spa (which is what this place is supposed to be).
