"There is plenty to do here in Jeffersonville. My hotel at the Raddison was within a few minutes' drive to the falls of Ohio. Clarksville is right next door at Exit 4 for restaurants and shopping. Across the Bridge to Louisville is less than 5 minutes away, even with traffic. Mike Linnings is one of my all-time favorite places to get great food, large portions, and is locally owned and operated. I recommend coming here, as I tend to find more to explore each time."

We went to the Louisville Slugger Museum, it was conveniently located, parking just around the corner, easy in and easy out of the city! The next day we went to the Mega Caverns for a Tram Ride through, the information was fabulous, the tour guide new her stuff! We also had dinner at Claudia Sanders, they had us at the 'yeast rolls' it was absolutely delicious! A great short overnight trip!

We weren't there for New Albany, but it is a nice area with many enjoyable restaurants. We have friends in the area, Jeffersonville, and have eaten at Kingfish, Bella Roma and Wild Eggs, three fine establishments. We've not taken in any other places, due to not being there for New Albany's sake...we were there for the nice, twisty roads West. We stayed at the Hampton Inn, which is great, because it is close to the roads and near enough to restaurants we might try(which we did!) + gas stations for my car's nourishment ;^) ;^)

Several things that could have been easily fixed with house cleaning. No towels and several places that could have been cleaned better in the room. Beds were comfortable and the price was good. But if you're looking to stay in this area, please stay at the Hampton inn next door. They were booked for the night

The breakfast was good, my grandkids enjoyed all the choices. It was very convenient to have family stay within two miles of our house for a family event. The cost was the biggest negative. The single day cost was reasonable but when adding the Saturday it didn’t come close to just doubling the price- it was far more. That would prevent me from using it again for a day that costs that much.

We went for the fireworks, specifically for the viewing on the river. Which never happened. The riverboat was overbooked and we were one of the unfortunate to not get a ticket. The Fireworks were great, but if in was to criticize anything, it would be the promoters. The sidewalks were covered with goose poop, everywhere. You would think they would have cleaned them. And the music during the fireworks was atrocious. NOTHING PATRIOTIC, a couple songs with America in them, but the rest were not suitable for a 4th of July celebration. The exiting from the parking lot was a uncontrolled mess. Rather than direct traffic the police left as fast as they could get to their cars and scoot. Cutting off people trying to exit parking lots and making leaving much harder than it needed to be. As for Louisville, Loved the town. Good food and drink. Entertainment was spot on. I was slightly disappointed that the only distilleries were for Bourbon, no moonshine? We did find a great brew pub! Will be returning for the Moonshine event in the fall!

Stayed April 5, 2024, in your WoodSpring Suites Clarksville. It was a horrible experience, cockroaches greeted us at the door of the room. We had to ask for another room, debated going to another hotel but we were exhausted from traveling. The lobby smelled like smoke, there was no breakfast. I am asking for a refund of the what we paid of $73.44 due to the conditions of the room & interior of the building. It's a shame, the outside is stunning, but ruined when you open the front door. I can send you our receipt if necessary. Thank you for your time with this matter, looking forward to your answer.

Weekend a bit quiet and much not open on Sunday Muhammad Ali Centre good and interesting. Slugger Museum and Factory great and small bat given out so tour price very reasonable The racecourse where the Kentucky Derby is held is a short drive away and a brilliant experience and again well worth the small entrance fee. Very varied. Cafe not great. No coffee!!!

At first glance, this hotel looks great.

At first glance, this hotel looks great. But after staying there, you’ll know that the owners have just put lipstick on a pig. The lobby and pool are the only places in the hotel that aren’t run down. When we arrived, there was a surprise $100 security deposit, which wasn’t stated anywhere on the website when we booked. My family and I booked the largest suite because my husband was here for business and I stayed in the hotel with our two young children. We ordered breakfast which was $13 for a breakfast sandwich (the menu said $9). The “toast” for the sandwich was floppy and the eggs weren’t fully cooked. We let that go because things happen. I planned on swimming and then taking the two kids to lunch at the hotel restaurant. When we got downstairs to the restaurant, I was told by a very rude employee that she was the only server there and she wanted to go home, so she wasn’t accepting tables. It was 130pm and she told me I needed to wait until 345 when the next server came in. I went to the front desk to talk to someone, Kacie was very kind and helpful and eventually convinced the cook to take and prepare our lunch order. But we had to take it to go. It took over an hour for us to get our Cesar salad and chicken tenders (even though nobody else was there) and the whole time we were waiting, the girl was just sitting on her phone and organizing receipts. Mind you, she wouldn’t look or speak to us at that point. The lunch was disgusting, soggy and cold. When we complained to management, we were brushed off. Not to mention, everything in the room was run down, the elevators were sketchy, the furniture was all chipped and falling apart and definitely not worth the money for the room. All of the fire extinguishers hadn’t been inspected in over a year, so if there were a fire, who know if they would work! If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is not the place.
