Great location just 3 blocks from the Warm Springs base lodge. Also bus stop is at entrance to property. Very comfortable and quiet. Hot tub was great, temp was 102 degrees

Really enjoyed the area and the proximity to other things...
Really enjoyed the area and the proximity to other things that we were doing. We went to an art fair and a car show which we were not planning to do but these events we going on when we were there. We ate a great restaurant (Warfield) and enjoyed a trip to Sun Valley area and at a great restaurant (German) while there. We did day trips from Ketchum. Also enjoyed going to the Bow Bridge and the park and walked the trails. Enjoy the Gondola ride to Bald Mountain and that area. Such breathtaking views.

We parked at the hotel and walked the main street to get to restaurants. Most are within a few blocks. My brother in law does a 20 min walk each morning to wake up. I joined him. Traffic was light early in the morning, and reasonable when looking for restaurants. Fewer restaurants are open Sunday: but Chez McDo is across the street.

We loved Sun Valley. Wow. Beautiful ski resort.
We loved Sun Valley. Wow. Beautiful ski resort. The area also offers expansive nordic trails, snow shoe trails, snow mobiling, and ice skating. And plenty of high end boutiques packed with quality items for all seasons.
The area is short on quality restaurants. The few that they do have are really great though.
Go to Hailey for your Groceries!

Just passed through on our way back home to Utah.
Just passed through on our way back home to Utah. Charming town. Great Mexican restaurant (La Cabanita) and delicious breakfast at Lucy's. Didn't have to go all the way to Ketchum to eat at fancy restaurants. Bellevue did the trick for us. Affordable prices and simple living.

I lived in Ketchum from 1996 to 1998, and this was my first visit since I moved away. The town has grown immensely in the past 27 years, but it still has a small town atmosphere. The dining and night life is incredible, there is plenty of fly-fishing in the area on Warm Springs Creek, Big Wood River, Baker Creek, etc., and many gorgeous, challenging hikes in the area. If you haven't visited Ketchum, you need to book your trip right away! If you've been here before, you need to visit again soon! My wife and I will be back again soon.

Sun Valley is a gem in Idaho.
Sun Valley is a gem in Idaho. Staying in an updated condo would be the best situation. The scenery, activities, and the general aura of the place will be a memory not to be forgotten. i have wonderful memories of being able to spend some time there every year for 36 years.

Bellevue is a small town.
Bellevue is a small town. Everything is within walking distance because it’s only a few blocks. But Bellevue has everything you need. Great restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, gift shops, and even a garden center. People are friendly and inviting.

Atmosphere, people, skiing, activities, food. Sun Valley Brewing....food there SO GOOD. Unexpected treat. Saigon Nails. Cannot say enough good things.
Pioneer Saloon is an OF COURSE. No surprise there. We had some great Indian food as well nearby, if you like good curry. Getting around is easy enough. Walking about is easy, too. If you stay anywhere near the bus stop then commuting to a ski lift is simple, too. Care free, good eating, ways to spoil yourself....honestly, what more can be asked?

Came to SV to attend wedding.
Came to SV to attend wedding. SV has lots of outdoor activities (golf, hike, bike, fish) to offer and would have been more enjoyable in a cooler season. It was a bit hot and way too dry in early September and forest fire smoke was a nuisance. It’s not easy to get to as it’s just to far from bigger airports. I don’t think I’d return.
