Houston has so much to do and so many fine restaurants anyone can find anything to do that they want to do. It is just far to big for this country boy and the roads (main highways) are packed and hard to navigate during daytime hours.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and all of the staff were more than helpful and friendly. The pool and bar were amazing. We had a blast out there. The only issue I had the entire time was when we had lunch at the Landshark Grill. When we were sat there were only 2 other tables that were occupied at the time. After waiting for 8 minutes I finally flagged down a waitress to take out order. Other than that, the experience was great.

The entire time we were there it was a Red Flag Alert, so the wind and surf were quite active making the water less than ideal. Great food at Snoopy's, which is just off the causeway on the way into Port A. Recommend renting a golf cart to get to the beach to spare your vehicle from sand, etc. and they are everywhere, so easy to get around in. We really enjoyed Treasure Island for nightlife since it's four "bars" that are all connected. Good live music.

Corpus Christi Texas is a marvelous and beautiful city.

Corpus Christi Texas is a marvelous and beautiful city. Some days I have to pinch myself to make sure im really in this city. As far as things to do? Night life is min to mod. And don't get involved with unlawful behavior, they say " come on vacation, leave on probation.

Food and service was excellent.

Food and service was excellent. However the room has a bad odor. I complained and was given another room. It had a bad odor too. It smelled like feet/animal/body odor. I am glad I only stayed 1 night. I am not complaining to obtain points or a free room.

To summarise the issues experienced: • Shuttle service unable to accommodate our party despite being informed in advance • Long wait late at night with children after international travel • No staff present at reception upon arrival • Our booking for three rooms not honoured • A room assigned that was already occupied by other guests • Remaining room unsuitable with maintenance issues • Our group forced to sleep overcrowded in one room despite paying for three • A distressing incident occurring in the lobby area during our stay. We heard yelling and screaming coming from the lobby area. The disturbance lasted for approximately 10 minutes and my husband went to check what was happening as the children were frightened. From our room we could see the lobby area and witnessed a man carrying a woman out of the front doors while she was yelling at him to get off her. The situation appeared to be a domestic altercation and was extremely distressing for our family, particularly for the children who were frightened by what they heard and saw.
