"The area is beautiful and there is lots to do if you enjoy outdoor activities. We came to Lincoln specifically to hike the Franconia Ridge Loop trail. The hike was amazing, and there were so many other hiking options in the area as well. We were able to find some amazing restaurant options within a few minutes drive and a small amount of shopping in the area. We also visited Mount Washington on the Cog railway. I would highly recommend Lincoln for people who love hiking or outdoors activities. One of the days we stayed it rained and we had a hard time finding indoor activities, but good weather and a love for the outdoors would make Lincoln a great trip."

This hotel was exactly as I expected, clean comfortable and affordable. affordability anywhere is becoming very hard to come by. I appreciate a place like Franconia notch motel, the hidden gem is behind the motel. I wanted peace, quiet, easy excess to trails and that's what I got. The staff was polite and my room was clean. I would absolutely stay again. I stayed for 4 nights in room 4. no it was not the Hilton but I would not have been able to spend four nights in the mountains at an affordable rate, as you see Lincoln is fast becoming an unaffordable place for the average person, but yet over here on route 3 you can still find clean comfortable rooms at an affordable price.

We enjoyed hiking the area's well-maintained, clearly marked trails and taking in the beautiful scenery. Highlights included walking through Flume Gorge and visiting Clark's Bears and the Basin.

I have nothing negative to say.

I have nothing negative to say. We were completely and pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the community center pool and amenities. Don’t forget to pack spices, condiments and food containers if you plan to cook. We used gallon size ziplock bags as an alternative, as we forgot to pack containers. It felt like home, we were comfortable and slept great! Cook on the grill, light a campfire, relax, come and go and just enjoy this quaint, quiet location! I promise you’ll take a deep breath and find some peace while you’re there! We LOVED the Schoolhouse and Covered Bridge Farm Table restaurants! The schoolhouse is all outdoors but covered and has a beautiful Mountain View. Amazing food at both locations. There is a grocery store and Walmart not far. We went rock hounding at the rivers and fell in the water and loved every minute of it! Phone service in the area is poor but great at the house. We were able to use navigation successfully in the car though and didn’t get lost at all!

Waterville Valley is one of the favorite places in US.

Waterville Valley is one of the favorite places in US. I visit it every year with different friend or with family. The cute town center has a favorite gift shop and rear gazebo next to the lake. Dining in the Coyote Grill is a must for me. Inside and outside pulls are favorite time for my grandchildren and the Jacuzzi is for me. My sons and older grandsons always rent a bicycles and disappear in the mountain's trails. Walking, enjoying the fresh air and mounting's view around the town are most relaxing vacation for me.

There are so many things to do for families in this area -...

There are so many things to do for families in this area - Clarks Bears, Whales Tale Water Park, Lost River Gorge, Flume Gorge, Loon Mountain, Cascade Falls, and so much more. The Kangamangus is right there and there are some great places to stop along the way.

A quiet community conveniently located close to lots of amenities and attractions. Very friendly, welcoming people. Grocery stores and even a Walmart in one direction and lots of places to eat in both directions. Dijon Crêperie was delicious and provided a gluten free option too Saturday evening we enjoyed live music in the town park too

\n\n United States 9.0 Good NH spot Liked · Great, typical NH ski cabin. Was comfortable for our family while we were in town attending a wedding and doing some hiking. Disliked · The railing around the stairs is a little precarious and I would not suggest this listing for young toddlers or others who are not comfortable around stairs. As another commented mentioned, the pool & community center access is only free for two adults (and kids under 7). I think the listing has been updated to share that though.

We were there with our whole family (8 of us) to take in the Ice Castles which were fantastic. Hint, make sure you dress appropriately as it is much colder near the ice. Restaurants are crazy busy this time of year so you need to plan accordingly there as well. Many also close early if you are from a larger urban area and used to dining late. Ours was just an overnight so we had little time to explore further this trip.

We visited this ski resort area during the spring, so not during its prime time. The said there is plenty to do, but the lake is lacking. I am accustomed to Lake Winnipesaukee just south of here. That it is NOT.

Nice location to the Flume Gorge, Old Man of the Mt and Kancamagus highway. Good restaurants (Covid-19 hours shortened the choices). Overall very scenic. N Woodstock Brewery + B+B is a wonderful place to stay right in the middle of town.
