I have nothing negative to say.
I have nothing negative to say. We were completely and pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the community center pool and amenities.
Don’t forget to pack spices, condiments and food containers if you plan to cook. We used gallon size ziplock bags as an alternative, as we forgot to pack containers.
It felt like home, we were comfortable and slept great!
Cook on the grill, light a campfire, relax, come and go and just enjoy this quaint, quiet location! I promise you’ll take a deep breath and find some peace while you’re there!
We LOVED the Schoolhouse and Covered Bridge Farm Table restaurants! The schoolhouse is all outdoors but covered and has a beautiful Mountain View. Amazing food at both locations. There is a grocery store and Walmart not far. We went rock hounding at the rivers and fell in the water and loved every minute of it!
Phone service in the area is poor but great at the house. We were able to use navigation successfully in the car though and didn’t get lost at all!

Would recommend to others and would consider returning, as it was a very cozy, welcoming stay and especially good for our group of 7 people. Great size and design for gathering. Tranquil, nature-centered setting nice for rest and rejuvenation.

You literally just need to bring your bodies and clothes...
You literally just need to bring your bodies and clothes because the house is so well equipped with all your household essentials and more! The pool is a short walk or a drive is minutes away. The lake was also great for a swim.
Right around the corner from the dam you have Campton Cubard that from the outside looks like a regular corner store but when you enter it’s like a mini grocery store and family dollar in one. They even have a butcher!! Market basket and Hannafords about an 18 min drive which wasn’t bad either. The locals were very welcoming and friendly as well.
Brett was just a phone call away and great communicating via text as well.
There is not one complaint from any of the 7 of us who stayed in this gorgeous home with great decorations.
We loved our experience in the summer and can’t wait to experience our stay in the winter. You won’t regret it! Book it!

Just a suggestion: The carpet int he hallways need to be replaced soon.
Pro: the breakfast is good, they have. good selection, the area id quiet which is nice. people are nice and the location of the hotel is perfect close to the freeway.

We arrived in the area a little later than we would have...
We arrived in the area a little later than we would have liked. We came up from Florida visiting relatives and to see the autumn colors. Normally we would have gone to North Carolina however, because of the damage due to the hurricane it was decided to come north. That is the reason we arrived later and a lot of the trees have already lost their leaves. We visited a few of the local restaurants and they were very good and took in some of the walking sites along Main Street. Overall, we had a very nice time.

Staff is very nice and the breakfast is very good.
Staff is very nice and the breakfast is very good. I enjoy the location and the price is reasonable for hotels in the area. There is a very nice restaurant across the street and there is a nice sitting area with a fire pit out front of the hotel. Enjoyable at a good price.
