I needed a room close to the Eugene Airport for our 5 am flight. Most hotels were 15 minutes away and more expensive. This motel had recently been renovated and the room was brand new. It was large, comfortable and had a fridge and coffee maker! Mike checked us in and was super friendly and helpful!

I would highly recommend this motel, even if you generally don't like staying in motels. They have blinds that allow the light in without compromising privacy. The room was perfect, with very thoughtful touches. It was super clean and had everything we needed and nothing more. Much to our surprise, there was a full breakfast, complete with good pastries, eggs and bacon! And there was a small outdoor patio and lots of flowers. Very pleasant!

Eugene is a college town, full of what you may expect with the amount of students and others milling about town. The amount of businesses that cater to young people is great. There is an element of homeless people that do stay in the area due to it's mild climate and amount of resources available. But nothing that was much more than we see in other towns. The marijuana culture is definitely more prevalent in this town than we normally see elsewhere. BUT! Overall Eugene is a lovely place. It's so green, and pretty. And full of life. We really enjoyed our stay.

I (and we) hate the city of Salem, only reason we were there was because of a convention at the Grand Hotel. Conversations with other guests at the Grand related their stay was less than enjoyable. Your facility was great. We left as soon as we were able.

Springfield has soon amazing places to eat.

Springfield has soon amazing places to eat. It is very easy to get around. They have one of the countries best Heart Hospitals. Can not say enough about it and it's staf. The university of Oregon is in Eugene home to the Oregon Ducks. They have an amazing sports program. Short drives to the beautiful outdoors. Parks, lakes and more. It's less than a 2 hour drive to the Oregon Dunes and beaches.

Corvallis is a very quaint little town.

Corvallis is a very quaint little town. The downtown was fun. It had such a nice vibe, I decided to research it further. If I ever were to relocate Corvallis would be on my list of options. I visited in July when none of the students were there. Corvallis is a College town. When OSU is in session, especially when there is a football game, my opinion of the town may change considerably.

Great little town, good places to eat, and close to Mount Angel Abbey where we heard the Oregon Bach Festial produce the Mass in B minor. Also really close to the Oregon Garden. We didn't have time to get to Silver Fall, we need another trip.

We enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood, the cultural center and George Fox University. The town was close to all the wineries we wanted to visit from McMinnville and Dundee. After a week, we only used 2/3 tank gas and that included to and from the airport. Watch out for uneven, broken sidewalks and cyclists who use sidewalks instead of the street.

Woodburn was a great little town. We visited the Tulip festival at the Wooden Shoe while we were there and it was fantastic. The area was beautiful and we found a fantastic restaurant that allowed dogs in the next town over! And the outlet mall was the BEST I have been to. So many stores and shops.
