Lovely place on the river.only noise was the frogs and birds. Staff were great and the grounds and pool as lovely. Nice being with a family with grandma and their dog lucky. Even though it was in a hotel style you felt like h9 e, we had the end VIP room which had a balcony overlooking the river. Peaceful and serene. If you want the hassle and bustle of town this is not for you but a shirt Grab ride away.

We loved staying at this hotel! It was clean and just far enough away to be quiet/peaceful, but close enough to easily bike or walk to restaurants. Breakfast was also really good! While there are a lot of homestay options in this area we learned the hard way they were not ideal (thin walls, cold and dirty- at least the one we booked originally) so this hotel was so greatly appreciated after a bad prior experience.

Little charming “village” with great food! The place is like described, natural with outdoor bathroom but our room had both heating and cooling air conditioner which was convenient because it was cold first days. The breakfast was BIG portion and Pho was the most delicious I ate in Vietnam. We ate dinner at the bungalows every day, there is good section.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn't be more perfect, surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes. The facilities were good, and the staff were exceptional. They spoke fluent English and even provided fantastic food recommendations. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Perfect property for 5 nights in Ninh Binh, we even extended! Amazing staff, great location, very clean. You can rent bikes or scooters at the front desk for very reasonable prices. Breakfast was great, walking distance to evening in downtown without being too loud.

Maybe the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life so far!!! BEAUTIFUL location! Beautiful view from the room, private balcony, gorgeous bamboo interior, free bikes, and free breakfast!!! For breakfast every day I got coffee, a banh mi sandwich made to order, and fruit. Biked with my friends around the area and to Ninh Binh proper (~30/45 min to the city area with all the shops and Trang an). The area is a bit more remote but that’s what we loved about it. Also it’s just a little quick 5 minute bike ride from a famous park with multiple caves and boat tours! Everyone was so nice at this hotel and we felt super taken care of. Also got to feed some ducks at the farm across the way. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!!! Great experience and great value!

The staff are very kind and made good recommendations to help us enjoy our short stay, such as where to do self-guided bike tours and when to go on the boat tours (eg avoid the heat during midday!). They also helped us get a car to Hanoi Noi Bai airport for after we checked out. Breakfast included has Vietnamese and Western options, and has vegetarian options. We had buffet style one day and ordered from a menu the other day. Bikes are available for rental, nothing fancy. Rooms are clean and pleasantly decorated. There's a nice quiet vibe as the place is a quick bike ride from the busy streets / restaurants.

One of the most impressive places I’ve ever stayed. Location is like a movie scene. Beautiful nature, mountains and lake around, very peaceful place. The stuff was friendly and welcoming. Phol invited us to join a local dinner, and we had a great time together. The place was super comfortable, good bad, mosquito net, clean and big bathroom. Wifi worked good. They also have a restaurant and bikes rental. Prices are good. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was excellent, spacious and comfortable. The staff was wonderful specially Ms Uyen, Ms Nga and Ms Duyen, very sweet young women who helped us and made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was great and had many different options. We rented a motorcycle from the hotel at a very good value and were able to get to all the tourist sights easily.

The bungalow we stayed in was so cute and comfortable! It feels like a mini nature resort, and it is such a hidden gem! We had no bugs in our room, everything was super clean. The pool was nice, and the food is very good at this homestay. We rented a moped and went around, would definitely recommend doing so!

One of those places you need to visit after the city madness...

One of those places you need to visit after the city madness. We could have stayed here longer but had already booked a flight to Da Nang. So much to explore and experience yet Ninh Binh is peaceful and beautiful, would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The property is clean and the equipment adequate for the price charged. The view of the hills and the pool and lily pond is beautiful and the location is convenient for a short stay in Tam Coc. The breakfast was good and staff are friendly a.d helpful.

As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh...

As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.

This hotel were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very nice, spacious, and clean. It's conveniently located near Tam Coc and Trang An and just a short walk. Such a perfect stay experience.

If you stay here stay at a nicer location or you can just make it a day trip. Local game the bike rentals. They will rent you bike with no gas and you have to buy gas locally as you won't be able to reach gas station. Then when you give bike back, they recycle the gas. They will only you min of .5L or 1L of gas and you most often will not use all of it. I can understand that this is a money making opportunity for them and I just want you to be aware of this so that you can choose wisely. Good food is available around the main road there. so food is not an issue. you have spend some relaxed time here if you want but I guess better options are available.

Ninh Binh is an absolutely magical place if you are staying away from the city and love cycling or hiking through nature. The places for tourist have too many tourist and they are just... rude. However, the part where there is nobody is just lovely and magical and calms the soul.

I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh Binh. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near markets and attractions, making transportation easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities. In particular, the receptionist is very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to assist customers. The hotel also provides a private cooking area and dining table for guests, creating a feeling of home. The yard is spacious and airy, providing a relaxing space after days of exploration. I will definitely return to Lighthouse Hotel on my next trips to Ninh Binh.
