Lovely overnight on our way to Port Elizabeth. The staff was very communicative and welcomed us heartily. The apartment was clean and spacious, with everything we needed to help ourselves to a meal if we chose to. The local restaurants were walkable and the walking path in front was a great bonus. We had the ocean view which I recommend.

We spent just one night at the Springfontein Wine Estate, but it left us wishing we could stay longer. From the moment we arrived, Nozi greeted us at reception with a warm smile and friendly welcome, setting the tone for our stay. The staff’s friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond made a real difference. Special thanks to Zinhle, the manager, who even started a fire in our cottage after dinner, making the evening even more cozy. Busi attended to us during dinner and breakfast, ensuring our meals were served with a personal touch. The food was excellent, offering great value for money, and the flavors left us thoroughly impressed. Walking around the farm was a delightful experience, with beautiful views and serene surroundings providing the perfect escape. Springfontein Wine Estate is not just about great wine; it’s about exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

The hotel staff (especially Jainesha -I hope I spelled her name correctly!) were very nice and professional. I got a massage at the hotel and it was a very good experience too. Highly recommended this hotel for anyone looking for a high quality hotel and welcoming staff.

Eastbury Cottage is a gorgeous cozy spot to stay. Comfortable, clean and convenient to all the shops, restaurants and sights of Hermanus. Janet was a lovely hostess and greeted us on arrival. Perfect.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The room was lovely. Great sun beds outside our room which was quite private with a little plunge pool. We had a great breakfast. They were keen to give us our preference for breakfast which they duly did. Couldn't fault their service. Excellent.

Incredible views and amazing design. The cottage was very well thought out with a living room, separate bedroom, and connecting outdoor space. Facilities were very thoughtful — outlets everywhere, functional bathroom, etc. Food was very good.
