The bed was amazing and the Bathroom, with a wonderful bath, 2 basins and 2 showers was incredible. Beautifully designed and decorated. With a terrace and sea view. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Overall, it is a very good accommodation, true to its photos and description. As a golfer, the teetime organisation was efficient and the discount included in my accommodation was perfect for the golf fees. The course is very well managed and in great condition. Ocean breeze from the Atlantic cooled the temperature at this time of year (January).

The houseboat is a hidden gem, the lagoon was so beautiful and the area was picture perfect. Really stunning house boat, with all amenities needed and very friendly and helpful staff.

We were right next to the golf course which was a beautiful...
We were right next to the golf course which was a beautiful setting. Initially we booked to stay for 2 nights but on day two we extended our stay by an extra night. The property was clean, updated and fully equipped and the restaurant was wonderful. We could all feel free to explore the estate, enjoy activities and the time just flew by.

Yzerfontein is one of those coastal resorts that one would instantly fall in love with if one loves the small-town ambience. Very small, yet a town with several amenities to make one's stay very pleasant. This town is highly recommended to anyone who wants peace and tranquility.

The exceptional hospitality - friendly staff who did everything possible to make our stay as awesome as it was.
Meeting so many of the staff some of whom are interns hoping for permanent employment. Their friendly - positivity mad us feel so welcome.
This establishment is a must for everybody even more so South Africans.
The restaurant was beautiful and the menu was exciting. They even delivered orders to our cottage just before the kitchen closed.

Langebaan is a great holiday destination.
Langebaan is a great holiday destination. Theres quite a bit to keep you busy. Only thing lacking is play areas for toddlers. There's a Waterpark and jump place for older kids but nothing for toddlers around 2 years old. The only play area we found for our daughter was the one at Spur in Langebaan.

Yzerfontein is a picturesque town on the west coast of South Africa. The word picturesque should be seen in a curious way. Wonderful beach, shades of turquoise waves,lazy sea birds and the list goes on…. Wonderful restaurants to dine and wine!

Be careful what you are booking for.
Be careful what you are booking for. I booked a 'room' but ended up in a tent over a mile away from the Centre (shown on property's photo) along a sand track and across a main road.
The tent had water but I was told it was not drinkable. There was no gas so I couldn't boil it.
'Breakfast included' but that was back at the Centre. When I complained I was told 'rooms are over zar 1000 at the Centre'

Convenient mall close by to pick up groceries, charcoal, wood etc.. We went to the jetty ( close to Mikinos) to take multiple pictures. As usual my wife picked up sea shells. Not interested in the casino ,not into gambling. Many beautiful homes where we were, all different. Don't speed (25 km/hr ) where we stayed (someone received a 3000 R fine for going 50 km/ hr). Expensive homes and building plots according to the locals. ( Millions of Rands).

Just as nice as Paternoster but less crowded.
Just as nice as Paternoster but less crowded. Central location- can visit rest of West Coast as well as Cape Town and Wine Growing regions ...all within reasonable distance for day trips. Safety of town , low crime rate (for now).

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. It feels like home away from home.
It's peaceful and tranquil and the most beautiful array of stars at night.
Yzerfontein Farmstall and beach is only a stone throw away and we also had a quick pop in to Darling.
Location is easy to find, and easy to get around from the restaurant to the Bush Lodge were we spent the night.
