This is a very grand, and very old hotel. Some of it was modern (pool/gym area, terraces, elevators), and much was dated and in need of serious refurbishment. The beds were good. Breakfast was very plentiful if you were early, if not, too bad. Parking was easy and plentiful. If you hit a sunny day, you are rewarded with one of Earth's most beautiful panoramic views. So get an alp-facing room, with a balcony. The pool and gym, hammam and sauna were very well maintained. The restaurant and dining were in a beautiful room and the quality of the food/kitchen was pretty high.

This hotel was in a small town north of Yverdon-Les Bains. We had a lovely room, with a view out to the lake. There was more distance to the lake though than we were expecting. The room was well appointed, with a large comfortable bed and a good shower. We did not have breakfast here as it was expensive. We did have an evening meal however and that was excellent.

Everything was great; A well equipped, clean, modern apartment with an amazing view, plus a couple of nice surprises!

Cabane dans les arbres / Swin-golf de Cremin is located in Cremin, just 20 miles from Lausanne Train Station and 21 miles from Palais de Beaulieu.

The nice B&B HOTEL Lully 3 Lakes is located on a rest area on the A1/E25 motorway in the beautiful Three Lakes region, only 20 minutes away from Berne or Lausanne and 1 hour from Geneva airport.

Absolutely wonderful! This place was better than I had expected because the staff at Hotel St. George made us feel welcome and at home. They were not only friendly but extremely accommodating. The table in the apartment was small for our needs so they generously offered us use of a conference room with large table. As for the rest, the beds were comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good. I was worried about the street parking, but they told us where we could find a spot for free so no problems there. All in all a perfect stay.

Just a ten minute easy walk from the train station. Facilities were excellent with a wonderful breakfast. French was not a language any of us spoke, and there was only one English speaking member of the staff that we encountered but that made no difference as all were SO friendly and helpful (as was Google translate :) ). Close to restaurants and both COOP & MIgros groceries and the charming old town of Romont is a short but uphill walk away. Bus stop is nearby; note that before the bus takes you to the old town the routing goes "backwards" to a central station where one changes a bus to go back to the old town. Very doable, just research your travel. Romont is a beautiful place with the friendliest of residents. Lots to do--just visit the well equipped (and also friendly staffed) information center near the castle/Vitro Museum. Left many things unseen in Romont, would like to go back.
