El Juneina is a beautiful, secluded villa that’s not far from Valley of the Kings. The cottages are spacious, comfortable, and private. There’s a beautiful swimming pool in the centre of the property. The staff is very welcoming and caters to guests’ requests. The one restaurant has a set menu with very reasonable prices; and they will cook the meals according to the guests’ schedules. Visitors can sit at the outdoor tables or bring their food into their units. I was only there for one night, however the meal that I ordered was cooked to perfection, and there was an abundance of food for one person. The bed was quite comfortable and the stained glass in the windows, give a unique look to each cottage. The villa is in an area outside the city, and there is a farm directly behind it. You will hear animals from the farm on occasion.

I especially enjoyed the Egyptian‑style breakfasts The location is perfect too — peaceful on the Nile, yet just 10–15 minutes from Luxor’s temples and the Valley of the Kings. It gave me the best of both worlds: serenity and easy access to the ancient sites What makes Eden really unique is the atmosphere. The cats and dogs bring such a playful, comforting energy — the cats are endlessly entertaining and sweet, while the dogs keep watch, making the whole place feel safe and cozy. Honestly, it’s the mix of warmth, authenticity, and heart that makes this place unforgettable. It’s not just somewhere to stay — it’s an experience filled with care and love. For me, it truly felt like a home away from home.

The Bedouin Lodge offers a fantastic opportunity to relax, sleep, and dine in a rustic, authentic setting. The rooms are private, clean, and well-sized, with private bathrooms that are fully equipped. The breakfast features very tasty, fresh food, and they can accommodate vegetarians upon request. The hangout areas are great; my wife and I enjoyed every sunset there. Its proximity to all the sites on the west bank is a major plus, and they can offer very competitive prices for experiences like hot air balloon rides. We will definitely return!
