This is a BEAUTIFUL place. The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so friendly and kind and helpful. The views from every direction was absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I can't wait to come back again!

An excellent choice, especially for the location: the hotel sits literally opposite the entrance to the castle, which made everything incredibly convenient. The host is a kind and attentive lady who contacted us in advance, met us on arrival, and stayed in touch throughout, always ready to help. The room and bed were comfortable; while the space isn’t huge, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a small hotel like this, and it worked perfectly for us. We stayed with two kids, easily fit inside, and even found space for the stroller. Everything was clean, and the shower had good water pressure, a comfortable temperature, and no unpleasant smells. A simple but nice breakfast was also included, which made the stay even more pleasant.

I originally came here for two nights but ended up staying four. The family is special and amazing and they welcomed me in as one of their own. They were always offering me food and snacks and tea, helping me with every little thing that I needed, and talking to me about their lives here. I can honestly say I have never experienced this level of hospitality in the many places I have stayed in. Veronica cooked me huge and delicious homemade meals and even gave me food for the road. Josh drove me to Vardzia for a very fair price. Ella was always such a delight to talk to and has an infectious smile. This is an incredible homestay and I will miss this family!
