Very good stay at varkala in low budget we got a amazing sea view room with private balcony, view from the balcony is amazing, 2 min walkable from the black sand beach varkala, cafe are only 1 min walkable from property, in this price I don’t think any other properties give these like sea view rooms at varkala very worth full

it is ideally located in the best possible location for sightseeing ,very close to public transport to , I would recommend this place for family and friends good place good stay perfect location

The staff is awesome, the hostel is clean - they cleaned it every day. The location is also perfect: away from the noise but still close to the beach. Very recommended!

One of the best views seen from an infinity pool. The best thing over here is of course the pool, well maintained and as said with the best view. To comment about the ambience, u can very well spend your vacation in complete peace over here. The lighting and surroundings are exceptional.

The Gateway Varkala was a very nice place to stay. Everything in the hotel, from the staff, service, and location was top notch. The grounds are large and kept impeccable with a nice swimming pool. The breakfast was very varied and enjoyable, and the staff at breakfast were very accommodating with any requests. My wife scheduled a massage in the spa, and she said it was amazing. We had a lovely time staying at this place (my mom was happy which is not always easy to achieve). We arrived just before the beginning of the main season and it was not as busy and loud around. We were staying in the room with a beautiful view of the sea which was nicely decorated, very spacious, provided everything we needed, including the AC, fan, fridge, etc., and it was cleaned daily. Gentleman at the reception was very patient with us and very helpful. He arranged a laundry service for us (not done inhouse, but very cheap) and for a car to drive us to the train station. There is also an excellent ayurveda massage place in the back garden (unrelated to the hotel). We felt here very well and while it is for us a bit on a pricy side, the value for money is great, especially with those views and beauty of the place.
