We had a lovely stay at un Sogno al Lago. Rooms are very cool and nicely decorated and the common area is perfect Location is amazing with a stunning view on the lake Maggiore and the borromean islands. Fabio and Cristina, the hosts are so friendly, helpful and warm. They provided us with a lot of recommendations and tips to visit Stresa and the Islands. We were met by property manager Patrizia, who gave us a guided tour of the property. We were only 2 couples, so the house was very large. Lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. Our own private pool with 2 levels of terraced seating areas. This would be ideal for a large family or larger group of friends. We cooked in on all but 1 evening. Great grocery shopping in supermarket, Tigris, in a nearby town called Ispra. Close to Laveno ferry service for Lago Maggiore. Owners Marco and Tanja were so accommodating and helpful with directions and suggestions for day trips.
