This is the most gorgeous enormous classic apartment overlooking the lake and the mountains. Right in the center of everything. Filed with marble and lovely details- and so light filled and sunny! So much space- you feel like you could get lost. The rooms are so beautiful. They have a bathtub in the beautiful large bathroom - rare in Italy. Truly free convenient parking. Host was incredibly helpful. If you’re looking for a place where you can hang out and cook and live, this is ideal. I would love to stay there again. Lovere è bella!

This is one of the most unique and authentic Italian experiences you could have, and one of the best choices we've made on our one month honeymoon trip all across Italy. An old Italian home built over a century ago with hallways full of unique artistic artifacts, situated on a tiny beautiful lake known as Lago Moro, surrounded by hills from all sides with no other houses or hotels in sight, a panoramic view through all bedroom windows, and a private staircase that leads directly onto a pier into the water. Breakfast was personally cooked and served by the owner and very hosputable host Martino Mascherpa, and included freshly squeezed orange juice, hot drinks, sweet pasteries, eggs on-demand, 3-4 types of cheese and salami, and a variety of fruits, some of which are literally delivered daily by boat across the tiny lake.

It was an amazing experience to live in this unique apartment. Tosca was great hosting us. Plenty of rooms, all look like in pictures. We parked 10 meters from the apartment (at Municipality/Town hall parking which is open through weekend until Monday night). The owner also owns bakery 5 meters from the apartment, and could provide us with breakfast one morning (picked from the bakery at around 15 euro). Was easy to communicate via Whatsapp.

We stayed one night during a road trip and really enjoyed the peaceful, remote location. The room was spacious, clean, and well-decorated, though the mattress was a bit too soft for my taste. Rooms open to the shared breakfast area, so it can be a bit noisy in the morning. Breakfast was nicely prepared with sweet or salty options, labeled with our room name. The host was friendly and helpful, gave us a great restaurant tip and helped with the reservation. The presence of dogs and horses on the property added to the relaxed, countryside feel.
