Service was excellent. Room was huge and the private pool was tucked away behind the villa so it felt very secluded. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. Really loved our stay here!

Both breakfast and dinner were wonderful! The owner and the rest of the staff there were so friendly and accommodating. Room was large and comfortable and they got us to lion rock early in the morning so we were at the top to see the sunrise!

Love that they have lots of free activities and they will arrange all the activities for you. It’s really sweet that they memorize the names of each guests. Every night they have family dinner which is really nice. Each staff will always check on you and make sure you get everything you need. I really love this place and will definitely book here again.

Anji and the staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful! Very nice and clean rooms, toilets, and facilities! The roof top lookouts were fantastic. Had the most relaxing time of my trip in Sri Lanka in one of them. Located close to the attractions.

People! The staff were amazing!! From front desk to the waiters to the room keeping team. I cannot thank them enough for the hospitality shown. The property is exactly as per the images , clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable too and room is quite spacious. It is indeed a place I would stay again.

A beautiful spacious villa surrounded by nature: it is near a spectacular lake and rice fields. It is within a walking distance from Sigiriya and Pidurangala: we went there by foot. Our room was really large, fresh and clean equipped with air conditioning. It has a big bathroom with hot water and toiletries. The pool is big and clean, we used it every day. There are sun loungers as well. The house also has a playground with chess, table tennis and badminton. The breakfast was enormous 😀 and really tasty with fresh fruits and local goodies. They also served something new every day. Special thanks to the hosts Kasun and Pathum, they really made our stay there enjoyable. They helped us organize an elephant safari and a transfer to another city, advised on non-tourist attractions, and even delivered food from nearby restaurants free of charge. I would definitely recommend staying in Bungalow Resort for a pleasant vacation

One of the best guest houses we have stayed in during our years of traveling. Ashoka, the owner, was not only responsive but also proactive in ensuring everything was well taken care of. He communicated with us before we even arrived at the property and took note of our request to add a second chair to the room. We made this request well in advance of our trip, so we were pleasantly surprised that he remembered! The place itself was lovely and clean. Our room was huge and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking his beautiful garden. The internet was fast and stable, allowing us to join Zoom calls without any issues. From the garden, there is a view of Sigiriya Rock. The location is excellent, just a tuk-tuk ride away from all the major sights in Sigiriya. The dinner prepared for us by Ashoka’s wife and daughter was absolutely delicious. Ashoka also helped us book a safari tour with a driver, whom we also highly recommend. The best part of our stay, though, was Ashoka and his family’s hospitality. He was always willing to help us with our trip, arranging tuktuks whenever we needed them and taking care of all the logistics. 10/10 would recommend Cattleya Guest House to anyone and everyone traveling to Sigiriya!

Super super nice staff, very cute and very attentive to whatever needs, almost too much so! It was the best place and I am sure there is no better place to stay in Sigiraya, would be hard to imagine a better place m. Amazing views of both rocks, would recommend only one rock hike and spend time relaxing at this great hotel
