Big hotel, many facilities.. pool gym,spa, fitness.Nice garden to walk. Many pool.Restaurant every day different food.all very clean.Stuff very nice and friendly. Angela very nice and kind of woman.Thank you so much for for everything Angela.

Best thing about hotel is that you can ask whatever you want and 99% of your wishes come true. As European I like some things made differently as they are in Africa but if you ask the hotel staff makes it! As example I can say they make awsome tuna stakes if you ask them! And they also add rum to your coconut if you ask. So the main tip is - ASK! Moreover, as experienced travelwr I have been reading reviews about the hotel and two things were very disturbing (a) that the selection of food os not very rich; and (b) that the tides make the sea go away for a far far way. To tackle that I shall say that (a) food is good and changes everyday, so even on 11 night stay you will have a varios optios to choose from (especialy if you are into sea food); (b) tides are constant but there was no day with out sea at your foot steps to the pool, meaning that some times you have to wait half a day before sea comes back but it eventualy does.

Very cozy and lovely hotel that deserves to be called a resort. It gives a full island lifestyle experience, with many different locations around the property to enjoy the ocean view and serenity surrounding you. Wonderful breakfast that will cover anyone's needs with daily fresh fruits available of course. There is an amazing bar at the pool that offers the best cocktails in Zanzibar. But most precious are the people living and working in Moonshine. During our short stay, we had a feeling of living at our family's villa in Uroa. Thank you very much Shuni, Davido and Danilo for this unforgettable experience!

Absolutely everything, they were professional, a lot of attractions and surprises. They were beyond my expectations. Great support from the staff and such an excellent organization.

everything was amazing, truly we had the best time. The security was there so we felt safe. Try not to get influenced by the negative reviews, I am so glad we didn't because everything was up to an incredible standard. We loved Coco such a cute addition but we are also big animal lovers. Good food, good breakfast options, clean beach with cool restaurants around. The masais were not intrusive, mainly just friendly guys. So happy we chose Karibu. The room with beach view was out of this world.

This resort is absolutely stunning, all the way from staff through superb gastronomy, lovely surroundings, to cleanliness, etc... We stayed here in January, everyday different food menu, lovely drinks and high quality (we recommend all inclusive), everyday transfer to Kiwengwa beach managed by the hotel, visit to the nearby village and school and many activities... We definitely recommend to everyone to come to this piece of paradise! Every single one of the team is going above and beyond to make you feel welcome and enjoy the time staying here. We were staying just for one night. Kevin was amazing and very helpful and brought us all we needed. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The place is very small and quiet and fits for few days chilling. Loved the quiet and presonal vibe

The property has: 1. A fantastic location and easy accessibility, exactly what I had wished for. Pongwe is a quiet place for resting and relaxing. 2 A breathtaking Indian Ocean observation view from the apartment 3. A restaurant with convenient open hours, 10 AM-10 PM, underneath the property, with tasty dishes at reasonable prices. 4. Friendly and polite staff. 5. A tasty breakfast incl. fruits, fresh juice, etc.

Our stay was honestly amazing — probably one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly, really thoughtful, and made us feel special the whole time. The resort is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens, stunning ocean views, plenty of privacy, and clean, comfy, luxurious rooms. The food was incredible too — every meal felt like a treat. Tulia is one of those places you just never want to leave.

The cocktails were equally impressive: balanced, creative, and delicious. 4. Incredible Staff & Service This is where the hotel truly shines. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. You can feel that both management and the team truly care about their guests—and that level of sincerity is rare and priceless. 5. A Five-Star Experience (Even if It Says Four) I’m honestly surprised this is rated as a four-star hotel. The service, design, food, and overall experience easily match a five-star level. I would return without hesitation. This place is truly special.

you are on the beachfront and in the Jungle the same time

Everything at Marafiki Bungalows was exceptional. We ate all our meals there and everything was made from scratch - a variety of freshly baked pastries in the morning, fresh bread in the evening, home-made jams, fresh seafood, etc.. It was so delicious. There were sufficient sun-loungers and day beds for all the guests.
