The staff, facilities, food and drink were fantastic. The game drives were a lot of fun, and animals were visible right from the lux property.

I want to thank the staff of Maroelani lodge. We stayed may 15-17 and it was a Amazing experiencie. The service, the atenttion, the rooms, the food and the game drives. We had a welcome drink that was so good & also all the wines and cocktails were excelent. It was my birthday and they made it extra special, one of the most wonderful ones. They even sang happy birthday to me with a cake and decorate my room. It was the best service, stay here. You won't regret it. Thank thank you for the incredible stay.

From the moment we arrived, Liz and Arline made us feel as though we had stepped into a Fantasy Island.Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality instantly made us feeling at home and set the tone for what would become one of the most memorable trips of our lives. NJ, Vanessa, and Octavia made every meal a special experience. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and constant desire to make every guest feel cared for were truly remarkable. It wasn’t just the food—it was the feeling of being welcomed and looked after as if we were family. The safari experience was nothing short of extraordinary. CJ has a unique gift for making you feel completely immersed in nature. One day he told us, “Appreciate the small things, and when you least expect it, the big things will appear.” That simple advice perfectly captured our experience. He taught us to slow down, observe, and enjoy every detail of the bush, making every drive exciting and meaningful. We were also fortunate to spend time with Surprise, whose knowledge, experience, and instincts led us to incredible close encounters with the Big Five. His passion for wildlife and ability to read the bush made every safari unforgettable. What truly sets Oase apart are the unexpected moments. Gourmet picnics by the river, cooking classes, fishing experiences, breathtaking sunsets from a terrace high above the property, and countless thoughtful surprises along the way. Just when you think the experience cannot get any better, it somehow does. David and his wife are exceptional hosts. They have created something very special—an experience that feels luxurious yet personal, elegant yet warm. Their passion is reflected in every aspect of the lodge and in the incredible team they have built around them.

The staff at Chisomo Safari Camp was exceptional. They were extremely accommodating to our group. Some examples - There was a safari ride set up for us on the afternoon we arrived. We arrived at 3:00 and we were off looking for the “big 5” at 3:30PM. - The Manager Thabo offered to have lunch available for us when we arrived from our drive up from Johannesburg - On our last day, we had an early departure scheduled and Thabo accommodated us by having a full hot breakfast available much to our surprise. - We had several in our group that had dietary restrictions. The kitchen staff made sure that breads and other items were specially prepared so they could enjoy their meals as well. - Our guide and tracker(Matthew and Forget) did an exceptional job. They answered all of our many questions about the birds and wildlife. They pointed out things that we would never have spotted on our own as we drove down the roads and in the bush. By the end of our stay, they were as much a part of our group as those of us that were guests. - The facilities are extremely well-maintained and enjoyable to stay at. - Donald, who would walk us back with his torch every night in the dark, made sure that he learned exactly which units we were each staying in after the first night. He went out of his way to talk to us about the animals on the property and his concern for our safety; as well as our return for a visit in the future.

Wild animals, beautiful people, delicious food, over-the-top service....and so much more. Staff paid attention to detail. They remembered what drinks we had. If we made friends on safari and ate a meal together they would automatically set the table for the same number of people the next time. I felt like I made friends, extended family with everyone on staff.

Our Safari guide Nevermind and our tracker Ansi were the best. Very helpful and friendly. Thanks to them we were able to see the Big 5. I also want to thank our server Rodney whowas very friendly and very helpful. The resort is luxurious and blends with the environment, we were able to see animals while eating our breakfast.

3rd visit did not disappoint! Kapama Buffalo Camp is a gem in the middle of a private game reserve. Staff take commitment to excellence and quality to the next level.
