The view is breathtaking! We stayed at the small cabinet with bunk bed and it was so cozy and nice. The cabinet was very clean, including all the sheets and towels. The bed is also soft and comfortable. We booked the cabinet without a bathroom because we were only coming back to sleep and used the common bathrooms which are very close and surprisingly very clean and spacious. However, they also have the bigger cabinets if you would like a private bathroom.

We stayed here in the middle of a one month trip to Norway. The location is amazing the staff are so helpful thank you Sandra and Kevin (glad you like the baked pasta) and our cabin Number 12 was absolutely perfect. Spotless, and comfortable. Enjoy coffee in the morning overlooking the fjord. Tremendous hiking all around. Groceries available at the Joker in town 5 minutes away. Peaceful. This stay helped make our trip a wonderful memory.

Access to Alesund city center was an easy drive, while the quiet island location of the house afforded a peaceful getaway. I had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect. It was quaint and there are great hikes nearby. The hotel itself is rich in history and beautiful throughout. I particularly enjoyed reading in the library, having dinner while watching the sunset, and spending time in the sauna on the fjord. The staff was wonderful. Highly recommend.
