I love the location on Seneca Lake. The property is well kept, the views at sunrise and sunset are beautiful. Ashley is so kind and makes you feel special. This was our third or fourth trip here to Single Island Shores! We love the cabins, the quietness and just being here and unplugging for a few days. We even got permission to bring our 9 month old puppy. We felt rested and well just good when we left. Thank you Ashley Thank you to the work crew too.

A special place, worth the investment. Tastefully decorated rooms, fine coffee and lovely staff. If there was a comfortable seating area to work with a computer in the room or in the small lobby, it would have been wonderful.

We can’t thank this motel and its staff enough for the care they showed our son during a very stressful journey. He was on his way back to university in Vermont after the holidays when his flight from Newark was cancelled, leaving him stranded and needing to make a last-minute, unfamiliar drive late at night in near-blizzard conditions. To add to the stress, it was his first time driving in the USA, having come from Australia and navigating the opposite side of the road. Realising he would arrive after reception had closed, he called ahead worried about being locked out. The person on reception reassured him that someone would be there to check him in and asked him to take his time and drive carefully. That reassurance alone made a huge difference. A special thank you to Sunny, who stayed up past midnight to warmly welcome him and even heat the room before he arrived. That kindness meant so much to him as he was extremely stressed—and to us, as we were flying back Australia and were very worried. This level of genuine hospitality truly goes beyond what you expect, and we are incredibly grateful. As for the motel itself, my son said it was very clean and comfortable, and if he is ever driving through Saratoga Springs again, this is where he will stay. We highly recommend this motel for its genuine care and exceptional hospitality.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the whirlpool. We thought the lobby was beautiful, and it has a lovely view of the lake. We loved that.
