Hotel Henry has a warm and welcoming environment from the the moment you see the colorful outside building, to the fireplace in the lobby. The reason we booked was to be close to the airport as it is only a 15 minute drive. We only had one full day in Germany, and were planning on spending it in Munich. However, the town of Erding, a short walk from the hotel, was so quaint and beautiful, with lots of shops, restaurants, and walking trails, we spent the whole day there instead. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel buffet breakfast was one of the best we have had in Europe. We highly recommend this stay.

One word comes to mind, pristine. Just so well kept, and of course breakfast was wonderful.

This family-run guesthouse is in green countryside in Walpertskirchen, a 25-minute drive from Munich Airport and the Munich Exhibition Centre. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

This is probably the most thoughtfully designed hotel we’ve stayed at recently. Unlimited access to tea and coffee. In the lobby, there’s a fridge with reasonably priced beer and wine. Our family room had two bedrooms, a small kitchen, and everything we needed to heat up food and dine. Large free parking nearby. And a real gem – a kids’ playroom with entertainment, including billiards, air hockey, and more. A fantastic breakfast where you can also try and buy jams made by the family who owns the hotel. The proximity to the water park is also a big plus. We were delighted.
