The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable with old beamed ceilings. The bathroom was modern, clean with all amenities included. The included breakfast was simple, plentiful and very good. Really happy with our choice to stay here and it was very close to the Camino. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a boutique feel with rooms all different. The gentleman at the reception did it all from check you in, to bringing us extra pillows, to then becoming our waiter at the restaurant. Also brought us our washed and dried laundry and was kind enough to turn on the heat in the rooms so that we were warmer on a damp wet day and we were able to dry our wet clothes and shoes while on the Camino.

Beautiful location, great helpful staff after a long hard day of walking.

This property worked well for us., right off the Camino. The room was nice and we didn’t realize food was available then the host made the most beautiful cheese, meat platter and salads., it was absolutely beautiful. Town is about three or so km away so you could cab it but I would highly recommend eating at CASA Garea.

It's like staying in a very comfortable museum. A 400 year old house with its features perfectly preserved. Quite remarkable. And the staff and food are also incredibly good

Isabel and her husband are wonderful gracious hosts. This is our second exceptional stay at A Pena de Augasantas. The rural accommodation was warm, welcoming and comfortable. Dinner is prepared in house and delicious. Breakfast was everything we could want and more. We highly recommend this hidden gem.
