The hotel was beautiful, spotlessly clean, lovely room, lovely bar. It's in a perfect spot for everything. Just a really lovely. quirky place to stay and I would definitley return.

The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. Barely a 5 minute walk down to the lakeside, with plenty bars and food places to choose from nearby

The breakfast was wonderful. Delightful staff as well! We had trouble getting in at first but the owner was kind and patient helping us get into the building.

Courteous host greeted us for a later evening check in. Helpful with restaurant recommendations.

The house is very clean and comfortable. It has an excellent location and is easy to get to most famous lake district scenery sites. Within walking distance there are several fine restaurants. Chris & Robyn are so nice and the breakfasts they served were a really great treat to us and kids. Highly recommended for family travelers.

Cozy cottage! Right across the Jetty Museum by the lake. Our room was very comfortable, with tea and coffee available. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts are lovely. She makes very nice jewelry. The backyard has a beautiful waterfall. Only a five minute walk to town. Very convenient location.

Really nice as always got married here in July 2018 and visit regularly with always a pleasure to stay.

Absolutely amazing place, me & my hubby couldn't have asked for more. Cosy fires, the Staff were lovely & couldn't do enough for you. The food was our favorite it was just incredible, we will definitely be going back.

Definitely a highlight of our trip. Such a gorgeous place; felt like we were in an episode of Downton Abbey or something. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake, and even though it was cold and rainy, the hotel was cosy, warm and inviting, and set up perfectly for the Christmas period. Lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was spotless and the beds were really comfortable. The grounds surrounding the hotel were lovely and well kept. There was plenty of parking. The food for dinner service was delicious though perhaps the starters and desserts could have been slightly cheaper. All the staff were helpful, friendly and polite.
