We stayed one night as we had booked to see a show at local theatre. Usually we would stay in self catering but thought due to short stay try a B and B which we have not done for several years.. The location, staff owner/ landlady and breakfast were great. You are made welcome with a friendly service. The room was exceptionally clean and a comfortable bed. It was quiet and restful . I would recommend if visiting local area. Price was good and options explained to make it even more cost effective. Forgot how good B and B can be if it's done well. Thanks a lot.

The Chudleigh is located close to Clacton-on-Sea's pier, seafront and shopping center.

I booked a single room but when I checked in they had upgraded me to a double room at no extra cost. The room was very clean. There was a good selection of tea/coffee. There was a small chocolate bar and biscuit that I wasn't expecting.

This property is on the Tendring Peninsula, located on the coastal road, providing cliff top views.The property features a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi is available throughout.

Everything was great, great location. Good rooms and food was very good in the evening.
