The food was great ( we had three meals there). Breakfast was exceptional. We arrived early in the day and were able to store our luggage so that we could hike. Bed was super comfortable and the property was charming

I was thinking for the price it could only be awfull. Totally wrong. Nice staff. Nice enough room. Lovely well presented breakfast. Friendly breakfast staff. Free parking. Nothing negative to say. It's not raffles but it's also not trying to be raffles. Excellent value hotel

Everything from the beautiful grounds to the gorgeous house. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble the receptionist went out of his way to be helpful. The restaurant was excellent offering a superb array of breakfast choices along with hot choices all for £8.00 There was a relaxing bar also offering hot meals. We were visiting Highclere and I have to say this choice of hotel made the trip even more special. Thank you Donnington and all your staff.
