Romantic Hotels in Patterdale

Excellent location, friendly staff, lovely breakfast.

Excellent Food, good value. Spotlessly clean.

Set in the mountains of patterdale what an absolute gem of a find, straight away upon riding our motorbike to the b and b we pulled up got a beer from the outside bar set next to a river then was shown to our room( found out we had been upgraded free of charge) we was in the ullswater room absolutely spotless the TV could do with being a bit bigger than a postage stamp but don't let this put you off the owners are literally the best we have ever come across we was shown around the premises and then inside the bar and lounge area where there is a rule of if no staff you serve yourself from a varied selection of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages and snacks upon you have to be honest and write on said piece of paper room and beverages taken.there was also a TV lounge with a selection of games also.breakfast is served between 8 and 9 am where there's a selection of cereal yoghurts and fruit juices then the full English where you choose from any 5 items and we can honestly say the breakfast was a 10 out of 10 staying here is a must for us again judge it for yourself

Everything was nice about this place. The staff were all great, the food was very good, location was ideal for us. Would definitely return

You won't find a better location in the lake district, with not only a splendid view over Ullswater right from the hotel itself, but also fine walks nearby. The rooms are more luxurious than the exterior might suggest. They are extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed. The public areas of the hotel are filled with character and haven't been overly restored to please spoiled travelers. Overall, a place to return to happily.

Amazing little spot. Cabin is super cute. The stay was an amazing experience. Just remember to bring some coins as the shower requires £1

We were there for our anniversary, and the proprietor generously baked us a cake to celebrate!

Friendly dog friendly felt like a home from home second visit

Fabulous staff, great food, wonderful building and interior, quite quirky but I loved the style and ambiance. Amazing location with stunning views.

Old traditional building inside and out, open fires, old paintings, and wooden interior,in stunning location, kept very clean, easy to get from accommodation too pub/restaurant area.

Everything. Very clean and comfortable and the spa was amazing.

Staff couldn't do enough to help... Wonderful stay amazing breakfast...
