This is an exceptional hotel in a great location. Old historic building with contemporary extension to rear, focused around a nice courtyard garden. Our room was lovely with quirky, individual decor and very comfy beds. The breakfast was great with a full range and locally sourced. Great location within the town centre but with parking if arriving by car.

From the moment I walked in the door of the Moonraker guest house I felt welcomed, comfortable, and like I had a home away from home. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. I enjoyed meeting other guests at breakfast and hearing about what they had been doing in the area. It was such a lovely relaxing retreat. My room was super quiet even though the house was completely full (no vacancies). I cannot thank Morris enough for all he does to make his guests feel honored and well taken care of.

Beautiful property, felt more like home than a hotel. The towels were the best I have used in 40 years of traveling! The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed a peaceful sleep. Perfect spot for seeing a show at RSC. And the grounds were beautiful. I can’t wait to stay there again!

Very comfortable bed - night staff excellent Aziz and Adam make a great double act, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was unbelievable - the choice of food was amazing and first class quality - All the waiting staff were lovely especially Julie, keep on singing, it was great to hear a really happy sole first thing in the morning.
